Kytris Vemideth Medera (Yes this is where I got my pen name from)was a trump card counter terrorist for the United States army. Rumors were that he led a large fraction into some of the most succesful battles in the past years. He was a cold hearted pawn for their use, and master in the art of combat but it was three years ago when he was killed in a bombing. The same year that Rayne, an American teenager took in a friendly stranger. View table of contents...

The Past Dominates The Future, But The Future Is What Becomes That Past That You Can't Let Dominate You

I smiled as I felt a shiver run through the petrified figure under my hands. “P-please let me go! I’ll do anything!” I tilted my head slightly in amusement pressing the knife harder under my hand until it drew blood. “N-no p-please don’t!”

I still remember those earsplitting screams that I used to bask within. Those wails of pain I lived for, that twisted mindset that began a sharp killing edge. That killing edge that cut me back like a double edged sword, but that isn’t me anymore. No, I’ve changed…the army still thinks I was killed. This is my life now…this is what will be my past, and that past-no, that illusion will no longer exist…I will be free, yes…finally...

I will be free.

Sin is a Man's Pleasure, Sin is His Undertaker

“Codename, Alketrist en Ikerumastu, translated from our war code too The Devil’s Blind Demon, or The Black Eyes Reaper. Captain of the first five divisions, joined the military at age twelve, after being caught as one of the leaders in a scheme to steal from a large American company; Afterminer Inc., and you are telling me he’s still alive?”

The man shifted in his chair, resting his elbow over the thick glossed mahogany “They claim that he was killed during the raid against the terrorists on October 17th three years ago. I fail to believe that Conner.”

Conner breathed out quietly removing his hat to fan his sweat drenched face. “Sir…” He furrowed his eyebrows causing wrinkles to form as he closed his eyes tightly. “You want me to go all the way back to America, to look for a dead man. You have no proof of this, no one survived that raid in 2017. The terrorist base was destroyed completely!”

Conner wiped his brow with his coat sleeve, opening his blue eyes to the room once again, the chief now holding a thick set of weathered papers. “Conner, I can’t accept that. This war is getting out of hand, that belief was passed from my father to me. This person is not dead, I know they are alive. I have reviewed their record, they were beyond genius with their plans, and I haven’t seen fighting records quite as flawless. There is no possibility that they could have died in such an explosion, my father believed the same.”

Conner approached him setting his hands on the desk “What do you even know about him!? Do you even understand what his code names mean!?”

Peel the heart. What do you see? Can you tell? Or are you really looking?

Great imagination. I'm the first to comment! Awsome! Anyway, I really like how this man is rumored as a genius. Makes things even more exciting. If you want intensity, read my novel, War in the United States, 2047.

ill try it, it sounds interesting

OOOOoooooOOOoooooo. I love how thought out this is, and well organized, makes sense. Awesome plot so far. Since he wasn't killed in the explosion maybe he got affected by it somehow like he hit his head and woke up a different person, and left his dogtags on the body of a dead guy......intruiging, guess i'll have to find out.
