tis a sea shanty from my navy days. Sing it like a drunken pirate.

How low can you go, well I tell you right now I just don’t know
How far down can you be, well not much further down than me

I’m out on a ship in a sea of heat,
and I can’t say much for the food I eat
Working double duty makes for quite a long day,
and it might be almost worth it if they give me double pay

How low can you go, well I tell you right now I just don’t know
How far down can you be, well not much further down than me

I’m living in a hole with a hundred other men
and it’s smelling like a pig in an old pig pen
I got cigarettes and coffee keeping me alive
and mom I don’t know how but I seem to survive

How low can you go, well I tell you right now I just don’t know
How far down can you be, well not much further down than me

Well I’m always looking forward to my liberty port
because a beer and a woman is a sailors resort
I’m fighting for my freedom and my liberty
but you know there both the same to me

Now how drunk can you get, well I don’t know but I’m not there yet
and how bad can you be, well I don’t know but let’s go see

How low can you go, well I tell you right now I just don’t know
How far down can you be, well not much further down than me
