Momma don't you worry, you know I'll be all right.

Even though I can't seem to sleep this night.

I'm writing you to tell you, that though I'm far away.

I'm still thinking of you, each and every day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dreaming of home, I'm dreaming.
With the bullets flying and people dieing, I still can dream.
I dream of you and daddy, praying every day.
Momma don't stop crying, I know I'm far away.
Even though this night I feel alone,
I'm dreaming of home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I don't know when I'll be coming back,

Cause I still have work to do.

But I know it won't be long now,

because I'm coming home to you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dreaming of home, I'm dreaming.
With the bullets flying and people dieing, I still can dream.
I dream of you and daddy, praying every day.
Momma don't stop crying, I know I'm far away.
Even though this night I feel alone,
I'm dreaming of home.
