ww2 came out of the blue

nazis murdering jews

war in the pacific

and the allies fighting for the good

the germans fought hard at  but were slaughted

men lay on the battlefields

blood ozing out of bullet holes

men fighting in swamps hills and islands

losing friends and brothers

and to think it would all end with a single bullet(hitlers suicide)

then the war ended withe bombings on japan

by the first ever nuclear bombs

but now we share are peace

before the cold war

germany super power not any more

and then the cold war began
