Pure freedom
was bought with a price
Courageous men and women
Played with dice
And gambled their lives
For you and me
To be set free
As you look into the sky
And fireworks explode
In red and blue and white
Think of those who lost their lives
Those who willingly died
So you can stand there
And breathe in healthy, sweet air
To all my brethren,
Jesus paid the ultimate cost
Love won, death lost
JC is the greatest soldier
Who ever was combatted
His back criss-crossed with scars
His mocking, twisted crown of thorns
With bloody hair, sweaty and matted
Remember my children
Freedom is not free
It was bought with a price
God shed his grace on thee
For a time in the night
Jesus still reigns in America
He's still marching on
Look my children
To the one and only true God!
