The war torn sky on a snow covered field is where the dead soldiers rest their sword and shield. Life passes by just as a dragonfly over a pond; death chooses his victims wisely without mistake or yield.
Tears of past lovers rain down on bodies once filled with the breath of life, dying on this battle field is all these men knew it was all they were ever told. This winter chill numbs down to the bone many lives have been lost, forever trapped in stone. Why is all the grieving families ever ask to know to ease their pain of love had and love lost, religion is all they are ever told.
