(War Is Just) Another Name for Hell
Bullets fly and they hurt, they kill
They kill both sides and blood falls
This was never intended
This isn't how it was meant to be
War is just another name for hell
Anything where so many are lost
Can truly be nothing else
War is just another place for pain
Family's hide in their homes
They pray to make it through the night
Not knowing if they will live
Or if they will all be killed
War is just another name for hell

War is just another reason to hate
A young wife waits endlessly
For a soldier who won't be coming home
When she hears this terrible news
Her heart hardens and turns cold
War is just another name for hell

War is just another time to cry
A building fell and thousands died
The smoke was seen miles away
So many came to help those trapped
But still so many were lost
War is just another name for hell
Anything where so many are lost
Can truly be nothing else
War is just another way to crush life
A soldier wakes up in a faraway place
He's surrounded by other soldiers
Yet he feels alone without his wife
For others another day passes
For him, the world ends
War is just another name for hell
