Kukri and Sten

I heard the bullets race over my head, i glance to my right to see Ramdi Sayed who we all affectionately knew as "Kukri" because of his knife he used as both a weapon and a rudimentary tool. The smell of Cordite filled the air, i saw the germans approaching, my eeys squinted in horror and disbelief. I was scared...

Kukri roared out a mighty battle cry, and then withdrew his Kukri Knife and charged them. His jet black hair swayed in his adamant rush to slaughter the germans. I called after him to stop him, no more good men needed to die...

Kukri took a bullet to his left shoulder, his cries of pain echoed through my mind, even to this very day i hear his roar.

Kukri sliced the juggular of one german and managed to impale another before he met his grave through a blanket of MP40 bullets, the metal spray was the lead headstone in his already dug grave. Nothing could prepare me mentally for the pain which i was going to feel, such anger built up inside of me, my friends had been massacred by these bastards, my family bombed by the fucking Luftwaffe and my allies met their demise by their fascist hands. Blood today will run,and it shall run no colder than the hearts of those cruel Axis scum.

The trench i sheltered in was littered by the bodies of my family, no by blood but by oath. I took in a deep breathe and took my Browning from it's holster, cocked it and then closed my eyes briefly. I could hear them calling "freuer frei!" from which i have gathered means "open fire". Fuck them, fuck them all! i ran at them, firing my Sten Mk II and my Browning pistol, i didnt know how many i shot and i couldnt care less, i heard many of them cry out shrieks of pain.

And then a blanket of darkness came over my eyes....
