Welcome to my first real novel! I hope to get this published by 2015 ;) Temp and Ellie is not the real title. I haven't thought of a good one yet, but when I do, I'll fix it.
Elmira Mauder
Elmira, or “Ellie” is the main protagonist. She is married to an abusive husband, John Mauder. Later in the novel, she forms a friendship with Temperance.
Temperance Hadley
The hard-headed, rowdy teenager Elmira meets on the street. Temperance just happens to be fighting an enemy when they meet.
John Mauder
Elmira’s abusive husband. When Elmira steps up and runs off, he pursues her, determined to kill Temperance and get Elmira back.
Bullwhip McGee
A former friend of Temperance’s father. He’s known for being fast with a pistol, and being an ally of the Indians. Bullwhip's wife died three years previous to the novel, and he is all up for protecting Elmira and Temperance from John Mauder.
Willie Norman
A close friend of Bullwhip. Willie is a buffalo hunter who despises Indians, slow horses, and unfaithful men.
