Hi my name is Laura, I'm 18 years old and I start university in September. I live in a little village in the south of England and I love to write, I would really love to become an author. It would be great if you could spare the time to have a look at either of my novels, feedback would be greatly appreciated as this is the first time I've let anybody read anything I have written. Feel free to leave a reading request as I love reading (especially romance novels) although please note I don't read poetry, sorry!
A few things about me: like I said I love to read and I am always in the middle of a book! Music wise I am a big fan of Westlife, Taylor Swift and The Script, I have three rabbits called Cloudy, Velvet and Merlin and my favourite TV shows are Sherlock and Doctor Who.
Favourite books to list but a few: Harry Potter, Skulduggery Pleasant, Beautiful Creatures, Fallen, Unearthly trilogy, Hereafter triology, Starcrossed trilogy, The Selection trilogy (it has been pointed out many times that I have a habit of reading trilogies), the House of Night series and many more!
Daddy's Secret (completed):
For Ruby Miller everything is going great. She's a twenty-six year old detective living with her gorgeous boyfriend of nine years. That is until her old school crush Alec Thornwood turns out to be her new partner. When Alec returns to Ruby's life, all the old thoughts and feelings she had about him suddenly begin to resurface. Whilst desperately trying put all that aside, Ruby and Alec start to work on a case that may turn out to be a little too personal for Ruby.
If you liked Daddy's Secret, I'd love it if you could take a look at the sequel: Mum's The Word!
The Lost Princess of Algar:
The people of Algar have long suffered at the hands of their evil userper King, Hugh. Their only hope is that somewhere The Princess Alexa, rightful heir to the throne, is still alive and waiting to reclaim her kingdom.
Kitty Preacher had always been enchanted by the mystery of the lost Princess, until on her eighteenth birthday a stranger turns up at the cottage she lives in with her Aunt Melrose. The news he brings changes her life forever: she is the lost Princess. Kitty is told that she must raise an army to over-throw the King and reclaim her throne, but in doing so she must give up the life she adores with Aunt Melrose, and the boy she has loved for four years.
