READING REQUESTS: OPEN( ) CLOSED(x)

COMMISSIONS: OPEN(x) CLOSED( )

CURRENT MOOD:

*emerges from under rock* HELLO I AM BACK.

...Will update soon, I promise. Hope.

+ I actually really like reading requests, so feel free to leave yours below! I might not get to them right away, since I'm not online all the time, but I usually do eventually. If I forget, please remind me. Also, it would be awesome if you could mention whether you want a nice and simple review or concrit.

+ Unless I ask you to keep me updated on your work, I'll only answer requests for the same story once. I wish I could read everything, but I don't have enough eyes or time.

+ I'll draw your character for you, but don't expect too much because I'm not the best artist. You can check out my dA page, if you like.

I'm horrible at uploading chapters quickly, and I sometimes (usually) drop my works, so keep that in mind before you get too upset if (when) it happens.

*look at that line breaker it's fucking beautiful

 A B O U T   M E

Hey there! You can call me Whitlinger, or Anna if you happen to know me from FanFiction. I'm 14 years old and enduring the horrors of high school. I've been on Booksie for quite a while now, but it doesn't feel that way since I was pretty much nonexistent during 2013. During that time, I was discovering the fandom culture, madly writing fanfiction, and learning how to draw anatomy. I'm currently working on Pendulum: Glimpse of Dawn, a sci-fi novel that begins when aliens arrive on Earth (the main plot point of the story doesn't have much to do with the aliens, by the way). I love science fiction, but the biggest reason isn't because I like aliens and spacey wacey timey wimey (yeah, you've guessed) stuff, but because I like the kind of supernatural that makes logical sense...which is why I'm also a sucker for mystery and crime. My second favorite genre would be romance/drama. I'm a movie geek and I love games (though I don't play them much).

Pendulum: Glimpse of Dawn

GENRE  Science Fiction

RATING  PG-13

SUMMARY  The day everything ends, Earth has visitors. They are bizzare, startling, otherworldly beings, yet strangely similar to the human race. Evelyn, Noel and Alice are three teenagers from a summer camp, spending the weekend at a water park when catastrophe strikes. Soon they find themselves tangled in the mystery of the aliens and the purpose of their arrival on Earth. What they discover changes everything they have ever believed in, and sends their world hurling into chaos and utter doom.

+ The cover art is done by yuumei (dA page), who is basically my idol. Her art is amazing.

+  It seems I have some amazingly talented, wonderful artist friends. Please go check her work out(Alice, Evelyn, Noel)

"Pendulum" is the name of the series (hopefully it'll be a series, anyway), and "Glimpse of Dawn" is the name of the book. I chose the word pendulum because it's meaningful to the gigantic time bomb lurking in the background of the story, and because I just really like this word. And "Glimpse of Dawn"...well, you'll see.

+ I'm being really nitpicky with this project, since it's my main work at the moment, so expect...well, really slow updates.

+ Please give it a read! Thank you. :)
