A commentary on hope.
My real name is Jason. I'm 27 years old. Marital status: happily married until further notice. Employment: the epitome of mediocrity.
Education: Masters degree in Pretentiousness from the Sycophantic School of Snobbery.
Religious views: blasphemous.
Political Views: grossly inappropriate.
Ethnicity: painfully white.
Heritage: Lost to the homologizing woes of modernity.
Social Status: omnipotent.
I am a hopeless romantic, a shameless dreamer; I may express a certain latent cynicism however my realistic side leans indelibly towards optimism.
Were I born to an earlier era I would have been there to embark upon the quest to the new world; I would have volunteered for the Great Crusade and I
would have stood my ground on the frontlines of any and all revolutions, such is the adventurous heart that resides innately within me. I see proud peaks and aspire to
their lofty heights, I ascribe to the prescription of no dogma, I question every orthodoxy and challenge every convention; I want to clash with the status quo if only for the
sake of upholding the human spirit of defiance within us all. Given to introversion, I am philosophically bound to a sort of misanthropthy although this is in direct
contradiction to my personal comportment which is more often affected with an aspect of compassionate empathy and sympathetic understanding. At times I am tacit, though, when
I do express my careful opinion, people usually harken well, as I may speak little but I speak well.
Reading requests are always open, however, I tend to be a literary snob so I'm really only interested in unique and innovative creative writings
and as such I am not particularly fond of fan-fiction or any generic regurgitation of popular genre trends i.e. vampirism, werewolves et cetera.
