I am 65 years old an d have kbeen writing all my life (or at least is seems so). I have been taking it seriously for the past seventen years, and have had some small successes. So far I have failed to interest any publisher in any of my writing.
I write poetry, short stories and novels. So far I have written eight novels, some have been creamated in sheer frustration, others I can not bear to part with. I am in the process of finishing a saga in three parts, and have four other novels started. Most of my writing has a Welsh theme, most are historical.
I have been married for forty-two years and have one daughter, unmarried aged 42 - an independant woman even though she still lives with us. I have two dogs, a cross-dalamation/collie called Bono (yes I am a U2 fan) and Ben a collie who we rececently adopted. I also have three cats, Milli, Daisy and Oz (after Ozzie Osborn the prince of darkness. Oz is totally black.)
Besides my family, pets, and writing, my great love is travelling. I have been to the US about 10 times in the past 15 years, and I love it. I have also been to Australia, Egypt and France, Italyl, Belguim, Canary Islands, Spain, Germany, Holland. That`s as much as I can remember right now. Don`t think we are rich by that itinerary. Most of our trips have been budget bargains. My husband and I are just ordinary working class, though we are both retired now, and we live very modesly.
