Things nowadays are so, so hard to deal with; especially when you’re talking about money. Well, maybe you’ll wonder about a child talking about money, money business, how could a little child ever do that?

 

You could be thinking, it’s pretty common now, everybody holds money, and even a gift, would be money itself; But what about this little girl? Back in the 1980s there’s a family, yeah, of course, there’s the mother, the father, the siblings, and the rest for the extension… Yet that’s not what we are here for! Why won’t you take a tour in the house? It won’t be awhile but I will make it up to you… nice and slow.

 

Then, what about a scene with this child… Her name is Andy, a very simple girl with a very charming smile. She’s sweet, thoughtful and very “wise”. If you’re talking about favors, orders or any other …well, expect Andy to answer “Ok, right away sir, but for one condition…” and that’s it! Andy is smart; she won’t let you down… unless you let her down. So that’s the problem. Don’t mess with her. She loves to make a deal, yeah, deals a lot, what a genius! Aside from that, don’t be surprised when you’ll be seeing her counting favors. And what about Jack; her very big brave and strong brother, People always say that he is nothing compared to Andy.

 

“They did nothing but to talk about money,” Well, like what Jack ought to say everyday he opens his eyes in the morning. It’s a nightmare to Jack. Very well, now that you know our little angel in the hall, welcome to the family!

 

By the way, don’t you ever ask something to Andy…? She won’t give anything without another. It’s a lifestyle. Want a day with them? Meet Mr. Robinson, their uncle, he’s the nicest guy in the village.

 

One day, he asked a favor to Andy.

“Could you get me a coffee here?” That’s how Mr. Robinson asked his niece every night.

“Well, sure! 5.00 php for the creamer, the same price for the powdered coffee, and as well as the sugar… oh, and before I forget, care for hot water, at the same price? I’ll mix it especially for you, special with another 5.00 php…” Andy replied with the usual sweet tone.

 

What’s the sense of it…?

 

Let me tell you, so, here’s it, the new lifestyle. Well, I’m about to say that money did this to our life; dirty in our hands, filthy to our minds ; yet it remains, making you believe that somehow, it’s an essence to be alive.

 

“Wake up, Jack knows it best. Why do you care too much for money? It’s only a piece of paper…! With drawings, I prefer. Every body can rip it off; every body can be ripped off! Don’t you step on him that way?!” Well, that’s how Mr. Robinson used to utter every time Jack feels so shame.

 

However, Mr. Robinson makes sense. What is money anyway? And why does it bring us to arguments? Was it really meant to help us live, or was it just wearing a mask secretly begging us to die?
