Introduction
You see those that are depressed. They walk right by leaving you completely unaware of what's on their mind. You look at them as if they're normal people. But deep down, they're suffering. Suffering from something I call depression. They are trapped inside their own inner thoughts and can't find the strength to call for help. I'm one of those people. You wouldn't know it from looking at me though. When in public I hide my pain behind a fake smile because I know no other way to hide it. However, when I'm alone, I could cry for hours on end due to depression I didn't even know I had. I don't know what the cause of my depression is. Is it due to my parent's deaths? The imprisoning of my uncle? The wreckage of my hometown? I am now living out on the streets along with my little sister Capri. Being the older sister I have to remain calm in all situations. But that's not easy when you can't even think straight. My name is Noelle Hansen, and I suffer from depression.
