Prologue
The tribunal stands dark and horrific in front of me. Long, black robes cover their bodies and the hoods cast eery shadows over their faces, distorting their silky hair.
"Rachiel, you have been chosen to find the one." demands a booming voice that sends a shiver through me. Yes my lord, I think knowing that he hears me.
"Nathaniel will be acompanying you, one to keep an I on you, so that you won't give in to temptation ... and two, to help aid you until you find her." His voice echoes as the Tribunal disappear and leave me alone with my own thoughts.
I hear the door open behind me and let out a breath. Nathaniel taps me on the shoulder, careful not to touch my bare skin. Nathaniel and myself have never gotten on, what with us both having fiery personalities we clash a lot of the time, wickedly. "We should go ... now!" He growls in his hoarse voice and I smile at him sarcasticly. You'd think that angels would be polite to one another, but when no one else is around we have to be harsh to one another otherwise something might happen ...
