The girls went to the front desk, where they put in their orders. The orders would come in about the same time that they were supposed to leave. Bernard paid in advance for them and everyone left to go back to the ship.

“So, how did you like it?” Steven asked when he saw them.

“It was great!” Dienna shouted. “Tia and I totally humiliated a couple of boys back there at the arcade!”

“The variety was great,” Giselle said, “Except, they don’t have anything in English.”

Steven laughed at the last comment. “Yes, I’ve found that to be a problem, myself. Did you meet Tyler?”

“Yeah, we did!” Corazon said. “He was great.”

“Do they have anything from Earth besides ham burgers, though?” Tia asked. “I mean, it was great and all, but I don’t plan on living off of those for the rest of the week.”

“No, you can buy raw ingredients and make your own stuff.” Steven said.

“Great, more work!” Dienna sarcastically remarked.

“Dienna, we just spent several hours shopping.” Tia said. “How can you even think to complain about work right now?”

“Well, we’ll probably wind up cleaning the whole ship from head to toe while we’re here.” Dienna grumbled.

“As always,” Corazon sarcastically said. “Dienna tries her very best to be positive.”

“Well excuse me, miss sunshine, but someone has to provide the negative balance to things. You know, yin-yang?” Dienna replied.

     Corazon rolled her eyes again.

“Well, I think that’s it Steven.” Twilight walked up to the group. “Oh, hi girls. How was the outing?” Then everyone started talking all at once. Twilight held up his hands protectively and said,   “All right, all right! I get the picture! It was great.” Then he turned to Steven. “Thanks for the parts. How much do I owe you?”

“It’s on the house.” Steven said. “My thanks for stopping here instead of somewhere else.” He hugged Twilight.

“Well, we’ll be here a while, yet.” Twilight said when the brief moment was over. “The repairs will take quite some time.”

“I wish I could help, but my employees wouldn’t be too happy at getting a job that wouldn’t pay them.” Steven joked.

“Well, see you later, then.” Twilight said as Steven left.

“Bye!” Steven and Bernard went over to the next ship to meet the pilot there.

“So, you guys want to unpack?” Twilight assumed. “Let’s go.”

After the new clothes were washed and dried, the girls took the tunics and hung them in their closets. They put their under-clothes in the bureaus and their hygiene supplies in the bathrooms.

At five ‘o clock, Twilight called the girls up to the main control room to tell them about the repairs.

“Fueling up again won’t be the problem.” Twilight was saying. “It’s the exterior damages that will. Not only are we damaged from fights that I had on the way to get you, but there are also the damages from the fight we had on the way over. The entire project should take about five more days to fix. That’s almost a week. So, if I see you guys around the ship, I’m going to assume that you’re going to help me with the repairs. Everyone has to help a little, though. Got it?”

Everyone agreed, except for Dienna, who whined. Then Twilight, Felicia and Giselle went to fix dinner.

“I don’t want to work.” Dienna said.

“Then don’t stick around the ship.” Tia suggested.

     “I won’t!” Dienna replied.

“Where will you go instead?” Corazon asked.

“I’ll explore the port.” Dienna shrugged.

“By yourself?” Corazon was not convinced.

“Yes, by myself. And don’t think you’re coming with me, because you’re not.” Dienna quickly said. “Think about it. Our personalities never mixed. Negativity, v. Positivity.”

“I see the point.” Corazon backed off. Then she sighed. “I think I’ll help out some tomorrow morning and then go and explore in the afternoon.”

“That’s fine with me.” Dienna remarked.

“I think I’ll work in the afternoon and sleep in all morning.” Tia put in. “I’m tired.” She yawned and stretched just to prove it.

     “Yeah, whatever.” Dienna said.

They sat in silence for a short time.

“Are either of you as bored as I am?” Dienna finally asked. The three girls burst out laughing.

After dinner, everyone went to bed. They were all very tired. This time, it was Dienna who had a dream.

She was standing in the arcade she had been in earlier. Ray, one of the boys she had beaten was there. He took her out and helped her translate some music. Then he took her to see his ship. It was smaller than the ship Dienna had come in, but it was equipped for travel. He was the main gunman on that ship, so Dienna gave him pointers as he played the training module that was aboard that ship. Then Dienna and Ray went over to the ship Dienna had come in.

She was introducing everyone, when the Bandaa attacked. The Bandaa won a short battle and took everyone to their home planet, Drenk.

Dienna shot up in bed. She was in a hot sweat and out of breath. After staring around in the darkness for a while, she had calmed herself enough to go back to sleep. She would have gone back to sleep, too, if Felicia hadn’t knocked on her door.

“What is it?” Dienna managed to sound like her usual whining self.

“Do you have the time?” Felicia asked.

“Tia does.” Dienna replied. When Felicia started to leave, Dienna called her back. “I’m coming, too. I really need to get a watch.”

Tia told them that it was seven in the morning. So, Dienna went back to her room, took a warm, waking shower and put on her black outfit.

She found Twilight sitting at the eating table.

     “Good morning.” He cheerfully greeted.

     “Hello.” Dienna replied.

“Oh, ‘morning Dienna!” Felicia said from the kitchen. “Do you want cereal, or pancakes?”
