I woke up this morning with a start from my nightmare where all around me was blue; there I was sailing on a blue boat in the middle of the deep blue ocean while watching the clear sky carpet the whole universe from above, when suddenly everything around me blurs and fades in to a dark black hole that moved towards me like a tornado from an unknown direction. Out of breath I jump out of my bed screaming frightened to death, but then to realize that it was only a nightmare.
That wasn't the first time I've had this nightmare, I've been seeing the same vision for about three months now…
I glance at the time and realize that I'm going to be late to school the first day of second semester, but then again high school is just not my thing. So I head to my wardrobe and reach in for the nearest outfit. You see I was never this girl who gave much attention to what she wore and how her hair looked in the morning, ok well there was a period of time in grade eight when I tried to look pretty ormore attractive, but I started to get tired of it, because I knew that no matter how hard I tried to look less ugly I'm still not going to change the fact that I am ugly. I mean like who wants to have curly red hair, brown petit eyes, and a big nose?
I got to school late as I expected, but that wasn't the worst part because as soon as I got there I remembered that I left my time table at home. What a perfect day I'm having!
I walk to the guidance office to ask for another time table copy,
"Good morning Mrs. Goldenberg, can I please have another copy of my time table?" I tried to sound as polite as I could.
"Off course dear, your full name and grade please?"
"Meg Carson, grade ten." Yes that’s me.
