At 6 o'clock am Sunday moring I woke up to the sound of the phone ringing. Nobody ever called that early other than tell-marketers. I let it ring and I fell asleep again. 6 minutes later it rang again. I thought to myself:

"This person must be CRAZY!"

I slugged out of bed and read the caller ID. It was the hopital! I picked it up immediatly... I heard a low drowning say,

"Is this Ms. Lily Staree?"

I answered and asked why he was calling. I thought,

"If this dude is from the hospital, why is he calling me? Who is he??? And where are Travis and Mom???" They would've answered the phone milleniums before I ever would. He didn't answer... So I asked again. He told me I might want to hurry down to the hopital. I thought I better tell mom, so she didn't freak when she woke up.

I quickly changed into some presantable clothes and ran through my hair wiht my fingers. I ran to my mom's room and knocked on the door. Nobody answered. I looked through the door. She wasn't in her bed! I knew dad had already left for work at 5 am. Mom never got up this early. I thought I should tell Travis, since I couldn't tell mom. I ran as fast as I could down the stairs. Being in a hurry I slammed on his door. No answer, was this some type of trick??? So I opened his door, but he wasn't there either. This was getting weird. I thought they might both be in the hopital... but, I was them come bakc from the library last night... so that left Crystal. She wasn't they type to go the hopital if she was hurt, that's just the way Crystal is.

I got my funning shoes fromw under the computer, and saw a note stuck on the screen. There know where I go immediatly when I wake up! Hehe! Mom and Travis were on a morning jog... that would explain why they were bothe gone.

I ran out of the door and slammed it shut. I stuck in my key, but it wouldn't lock. I yelled at in and left it alone. Hopefully no one would break in. I started running down the alley as fast as i could. I tripped over an all black cat and told myself that it IS NOT AN OMEN, NOT AN OMEN. I pulled myself up and kept on running.

There was blood running down my legs and arms, snot running down my face mixed in with tears. By the time I got to the hopital it seemed as though my heart had stopped. It wasn't Crystal. It was Mom and Travis.
