Colin Grey. The hottest guy in the entire school. Everyone wants him, even me. But I won't admit it. He's is everything you want in a guy. Sweet, friendly, hot, popular, cute, did I mention hot? Anyways, I want him. If I could pick one thing in the entire world I could get, but nothing else, it would be Colin. Do I sound crazy yet?
"Sapphire!" My friend Kristie calls to me down the hallway. She runs up to me,"Did you hear about the try outs for the play?" I rolled my eyes.
"Kristie, I am not trying out for the play with you." She gives me a pleading look.
"Oh, come on! It'll be fun! Plus there's a new kid trying out, and he's HOT."
"When did we get a new kid?"
"Yesterday, but that's not the point! Just agree and I'll leave you alone." I sigh.
"Fine, but I'm not doing the play, I'm only trying out." She smiles.
"We'll see about that." She says. Before I can object, she runs down the hallway waving goodbye.
"Bye." I whisper quietly.
When I get home from school, I walk in the living room to find my sister, Emerald, making out with some guy. If you haven't noticed, my parents have an obsession with gems.
"Could you stop sucking face until I walk out of the room." They don't stop, but Emerald does flip me off. Wow! What a happy greeting.
I walk upstairs to my room and throw my backpack on the ground. Emerald's stupid chuahau(Author note: I can't remember how to spell it!!!!), Molly, is barking like crazy at me and driving me nuts.
"Will you shut up?" I yell at Molly. She makes a whining nose and I hear her go downstairs.
I grab my homework from my backpack. I sit on my bed. As soon as I start to do my homework(after about the second problem) my sister just walks right in my room without knocking.
"There's some guy here to see you." She says this and goes back downstairs.
"A guy? As in what guy? As in Colin Grey guy?! Oh my God, is he here? Have all my prayers finally been heard? Oh my God I probably look like crap!" I think to myself. I rush to my mirror. Okay, my makeup is still okay, but I need a little bit of lipgloss. My hair, oh my God my hair is horrible. I grab the straightener and straighten out the dark red loose curls that wouldn't straighten this morning. I add some shine to it with some spray. I make sure everything is perfect, and then I walk downstairs to the door. I breathe in and out.
I open the door slowly. Standing there is a guy about four inches taller than me. He has black hair that's kind of a medium length, but not short, that's kind of spiked outward, making it cooler. He has these aqua colored eyes. By aqua, I mean aqua. Like a light green with blue in it. It is an AMAZING color. I have never seen ANYONE with aqua colored eyes before. His skin is pale, like he's never out in the sun. Somehow, the pale makes him look gorgeous. He is HOT. But, I stop my brain so that I know he is not what I want. Colin Grey is what I want, not this guy.
"I'm Raven. I'm suppose to give you these." He handed me a plate of cookies,"I just moved in next door."
"What school are you going to?" I ask. "Please don't say Grand High. Please don't say Grand High. Please don't--" I think to myself.
"Grand High. Sorry, I didn't catch your name." God, I can't stop looking into those eyes. They are so...beautiful.
"Sapphire." He smiles. He has perfect teeth, too. Ugh...and his hair looks so soft...Stop Sapphire! You cannot like this guy, you like Colin Grey.
"Awesome name. So, I guess I'll see you around?" He smiles while saying this. His eyes are so mesmorizing...
"Mhm...yep...sure.." I can't believe I just did that. Mhm? Yep? Sure? I'm studdering. "Colin Grey. Colin Grey. Colin Grey." I think.
"Cool." He smiles one last time at me and then he walks up the sidewalk. I still have his eyes in my head.
"Wow, he was hot! I wish I'd of answered the door!" Emerald says. I'm glad she didn't. Wow...his eyes...
"Sapphire? Helloo? Anyone there?" Emerald waves a hand in front of my face. I snap out of it.
"What..what do you want?"
"I said, mom said to put the roast in the oven." I nod and walk to the kitchen. I just kept thinking about his eyes....
