(woops. sorry to leave it hanging ^^)

"NO!" She said, practically shouting into the phone. Realization dawned upon her face when she realized what she had said. "I mean, no thanks. Sorry." She muttered, trying to control her quivering voice. He'll definitely know something's up! She thought worriedly to herself. All this time, she'd kept her eyes on the floor, the window, and anywhere else except Hunter. She daren't look at him, fearing his reaction.

"Oh, alright. I guess I'll see you at school then Dee." He said, sounding hurt and taken aback. But Diandra was too worried and embarrassed to even say anything, so she just said, "Yeah. See you Jase. I...i love you." she said softly as she ended the call. Guiltily, she put the phone down on the bed and took her clothes into her hands. "I'll be in the bathroom." She told Hunter without looking at him. Quickly, she dashed to the bathroom and locked the door behind her. She slumped against the door, letting her clothes drop to the floor. "What have I done? If I tell Jase what happened, he sure as hell won't believe me..." She said softly to herself. She leaned against the door for a few minutes, letting her thoughts wander, trying to clear her mind. Finally, she picked up her clothes from the floor and placed them on the counter next to the sink. She stripped and walked into the shower, turning on the water. As the water beat down on her, she closed her eyes and started washing herself. She didn't want to think about anything else, except getting through the shower.

Ten minutes later, she emerged out of the bathroom in yesterday's clothes which consistedonly of ablack babydoll dress. Her dark, wet hair fell elegantly across her back as she did a brief flip of her hair. She heldthe oversized shirt in her hand, looking at it. "I'm guessing this is yours." She said, finally looking at Hunter. At that moment, she couldn't really make out his expression. It was a mix of surprise, anger, sadness and jealousy. "You guessed right." He said, walking over to her to take the shirt from her hands. After taking the shirt out of her hands, hedropped itonto the floor and gazed at her. "That guy, the one you just talked to. He's your boyfriend." He said, more like a statement than a question. Diandra nodded her head andtilted her head upwards so that she could look at him. Hunter....Why did that soundso familiar? I'm sure I heard that name somewhere before...Pushing the thoughts away, she opened her mouth to ask him something. "So, tell me everything that happened last night." She said softly, her eyes meeting with his.

Huntergave a soft groan and a sigh, then broke off his gazewith hers. "I really didn't expect to see you at theclub. It was a really, really long time since I lastsaw you. Anyway, you came in, and ordered a few bottles of beer, and started downing them like no one's business. You came with no one as far as I could tell. At first, I didn't to interrupt your 'emo' moment. But when you started with the tequila shooters and dancing like a... Well you know." He said, sounding a little embarrassed as he ruffled his hand through his dark hair. "Lots of people were watching, mostly guys. Some danced with you and even touched you. You didn't do anything, but just kept on dancing so close. It was then I decided to intervene.I had to admit, there was this one guy who was really pissed because I came in the middle of bothof you and just pulled you away. Then, Itried to ask you where you stayed, but instead, you just told me that you were at Graves and Roses Academy. Since it was way past curfew, I knew the Academy wouldn't let you in. SoI took you back to my place andlaid you down on my bed to sleep. I swear I didn't touch you.Islepton the sofa in the hallway.I have no idea how you got uphalf naked like youwas, and with my shirt on." He said, as he sat down on the bed, letting out a deep sigh. "Happy?" he asked, his breathing a little uneven.

Diandra was already more than half convinced. But still... "Not really." She said. "Then what? I took off my dress and managed to find your shirt when I'm drunk?" she asked him, letting a little sarcarsm seep into her tone. She looked at his face, expecting to see at least some expression on it, but he was completely calm. Although it wasn't really a peaceful calm. It made her feel slightly intimidated.

"Yes, exactly what you said." He replied smoothly.

That caught her off guard. "Wha-What? Are you serious?" she asked him, not believing what he had said.

"Yes, why not? You were drunk and it is obvious you can't remember it." He said, looking a little bored as if it was an obvious fact.

The pieces finally worked in her head and she decided that he was right. A small pout formed on her lips. "Hmph. Fine. Sorry." She said, not really meaning the last word.

She heard him stifled a laugh and glared at him. "What?" she asked, although it sounded more like a snap.

"No-nothing. It's just the way you look when you pout. It's not menancing. It's rather cute actually." He told her, still laughing.

She found herself smiling too, and she could feel the heat rush up her cheeks. "Well, thanks." She said, her voice a little uneven.

For the first time since she woke up, she looked at him, studying his face. His face was already matured, and his cheekbones were high for a guy. It made him look even more attractive. Slowly, she moved her eyes lower and saw that he did have a really well built body. She could see his defined abs and she bet he was strong. "What?" she heard him ask softly. "Are you checking me out or something?" He asked, sounding amused.

Immediately she looked somewhere else, and felt herself flushed crimson. "Well, youcan delude youself into thinking that, but I definitely wasn't." She said, though it didn't sound convincing, not even to her own ears.

She heard him laughed once more, but this time softer and much more deeper. "I'm sure you weren't." He said, getting off the bed and moving towards her. In two long strides, he'd reached her. He was so close to her, that Diandra moved a step back, feelingslightly embarrassed. He smirked and chuckld softly, and took another step towards her. "Afraid?" He asked, his breath touching her face. "No." She replied honestly. "Good." He said softly as he leaned towards her, closing the gap between them.
