The cab pulled to a stop and I looked up just in time to see the cab driver's old, Santa Claus body turned around in his seat facing me. I pulled out both of my earphones, halting the hip hop song I was listening to, in order to understand what the poor elderly man was saying. He talked with an Arabian accent and spoke so quickly that it made all the words blend together. All I could do is nod my head and hope to God that he didn't ask if he could murder me or something similar to that.
After getting all my bags from the trunk, I handed the cabbie two twenties before strolling up the walk towards the condominiums building that I would be staying in for the rest of the summer. I pulled open the main doors and paused, digging in my pocket to pull out the note with my new address on it. I squinted slightly as I tried to make use of my brother's terrible scrawl before starting my journey to my new home.
Five minutes later and after a long elevator ride, I stood outside a door with the numbers ninety-six attached to it. I lifted my hand up and knocked on the door, tapping my foot impatiently as I waited for the door to open. I reached my hand up again but dropped it immediately just as the door swung open.
My eyes were suddenly face-to-face with a perfectly chiseled chest and my heart stuttered to a stop before starting back up in full speed. I willed my eyes to look up, sneakily travelling up the perfect chest before my own green eyes met chocolate ones.
Who the hell was the perfect hunk of man before me? I couldn't stop myself from eye-raping him as I took him in. He was wearing jeans low on his waist and I found myself wishing that they were even lower than that. His abdomen was decorated in a perfect set of abs. I looked up a little farther, taking in more of his perfect-ness before he finally cleared his throat which snapped me from my dirty thoughts.
A smirk was plastered on his face, displaying a set of pearly whites and one dimple on his left cheek.
"Can I help you?" the man asked again.
I bit my lip, blushing slightly before looking back up into his eyes.
"Um… I'm… uh-"
"Ara!" My brother, Luca, had yelled cutting off my answer.
I looked away from the man's beautiful brown eyes and around him to see the top of my brother's brownish black spikes coming towards me and the mystery man. He pushed the man out the way and swooped me up in one of his brotherly bear hugs causing me to giggle with delight.
"Let me down, you Mountain!" I teased.
He laughed and squeezed me one more time before setting me back down on my feet.
"Hold up man," Mystery man said, getting Luca's attention. "This is Arabella?"
Luca nodded before raising his eyebrow. "What did you expect?"
"A seven year old or some shit like that. Not a full blown teenager,"
"Well, she's obviously not that," Luca said, smirking slightly.
"Whatever," the man said, waving his hand dismissively before strolling off towards the kitchen; I found myself checking out his ass the whole time.
"It's so great to have you here," Luc said, turning back towards me.
"I'm happy to be here," I admitted.
"Come on, let me show you around our house," he said, pulling me inside and I giggled.
Luca towed me around the condo, pointing towards this and that and tell me how lavish or extraordinary those things were. I would laugh before either tipping my pretend hat or grabbing my pretend skirt and giving those same things compliments. He pointed out his room which was the very first in the hall. It was decorated nearly as close as it is back at home. The room that was across from his was the bathroom. Farther down the hall was two more rooms and my heart sped up slightly.
"That room is yours," Luca said, motioning towards a door that was opened slightly ajar.
I held my breath.
"And that one is Levi's." Luca concluded, pointing to the last door in the corridor.
My heart stopped.
Levi, the foreign man whose name I had just learned during me and Luca's time of pretending we were back in the 1800's, was living here. With us. I don't think my poor innocent heart can handle that. He was too sexy and besides, I had hardly any experience with men and I could tell that Levi was the player type...
This wasn't going to be good.
A/N: Dun, dun, dun! It is here, it is here! Tell me what you guys think!
