I held Taylor sigh as we sat in the waiting room. "Taylor calm down alright?" I said looking up at him from where I was sitting next to him trying to relax Fin. He looked over at me before sighing and rubbing his hand down his cast.

"I'm sorry Bailey. I'm just really nervous." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Don't worry Taylor what's the worst that could happen?" He opened his eyes to look at me.

"I don't know. What if they take my son away from me? I can't deal with that again." He put his elbows on his thighs before putting his head in his hands. I leaned up and put my hand on his shoulder.

"Taylor, they can't take him away from you. They don't, and won't, take babies away from their parents. Believe me Taylor." He looked at me quietly not making a sound. "I love you."

"I love you too Bailey. So much baby." I leaned over to kiss him lightly.

"Finnley Andrews and his parents the doctor will see you know." I picked up Fin's car seat and made my way over to the nurse before turning around to look at Taylor.

"Come on Tay, the doctor will see us now." He crutched over to me as I made my way fallowing after the nurse in her kiddy scrubs.

"So is this your first time here?" She asked looking at me as she held Fin's file in her hands.

"It is his first time here but not mine." I nodded down at Fin as he looked me from his car seat.

"Wait you mean-" She got cut off by the doctor walking over to us.

"Bailey it's great to see you again." The doctor smiled at me.

"Dr. Brown thank you so much for fitting us in know. I know you must be busy."

"You know I would fit you in whenever I could." He smiled at me. He leaned down to look at the car seat in my hand. "Is this the little guy?" He smiled at Fin.

"Yup this is Fin." Fin looked at me before looking back at him. I watched the doctor's face pulled into one of confusion.

"Bailey why don't you and your boyfriend come in here with me." I looked at Taylor mindlessly as I turned to fall Dr. Brown into his office. He sat on the corner of the desk and looked at the two of us as Taylor crutched in.

"What's going on Dr. Brown?" I asked looking at him as I put Fin on the chair so I didn't have to hold him.

"Bailey I know I have the story about what has happened to him but I need to know if he was a preemie." He asked looking at Taylor. Taylor nodded.

"He was about a month early." He nodded. "What does that have to do with this though?"

"Well I know this sounds a little wrong but your son doesn't look right. Call it a gut feeling but I think you might want to bring him to the hospital."

"What? Why?" I asked him quietly.

"I think what his mother has done to him had a little bit more of a affect them both of us thought. Let me check this little one over before I scare you too much." I nodded handing over the car seat to him. "Let's take him to an exam room to check him out." I walked after him listening to the sound of Taylor's crutches as he walked. "Why don't you sit down Taylor?" Taylor sat down before pulling me down with him. I laid my head on his shoulder as the feeling of total dread washed over me. I really hated this feeling. Always have. Always will. I watched as Dr. Brown lifted Fin out of his car seat and laying him onto the examination table. "Alright Buddy let's check you out." Fin gave a little cry as Dr. Brown took off his clothes other than his diaper. I took Taylor's hand in mine as He started to examine Fin.

"It's going to be alright." Taylor whispered closing his eyes leaning his head on my shoulder. "We will get through this together." I turned my head to press a kiss to his lips.

"I love you Hollywood."

"I love you too Blondie." He whispered his voice full of emotion. I turn my head to watch Dr. Brown as he pokes around at Fin. Fin looks our way before his face scrunches as his eyes water. He starts to cry as he starts to kick the doctor away. I quickly got off of Taylor's lap and made my way over to Fin. He looked up at me screaming as the Dr. Brown checked him out.

"It's going to be alright Fin." I whispered quietly to him trying to fight back the tears. "Shhh it's going to be alright Baby." I tried to fight back the sob that wanted to come out. Dr. Brown looked at me then rubbed Fin's stomach.

"It's all done now Buddy." He said quietly to Fin before he turned to me.

"Bailey you need to take Finnley to the hospital to get some fluids pumped into him."

"Why Doc?" I asked him picking up Fin and hugging him closely to me to try and stop his crying. I rubbed his back gently not looking at the bruises on his back from his mother.

"He is dehydrated and needs fluids. But also he needs some medication because he is malnourished and need important nutrients." I nodded as the tears I had been fighting back fell down my face.

"Oh okay." I nodded sniffling my tears before rubbing my tears away. "I will bring him now." Dr. Brown put his hand on my shoulder.

"Bailey he is going to be okay. I promise." He whispered to me. "He isn't as bad as you were. I'm sure he will be there for the day, over night at most." I nodded looking up at him. "He's going to be okay. His body just needs these, I know it he has the plain signs of this. He just can't get it from a prescription. It needs to be put into his system by I.V. He will be okay after that, even a little bit happier. Not in pain. This will be good for him." He whispered to me quietly. I nodded putting Fin's clothes back on as he played with one of his toys. I put him back into his car seat and looked at Taylor as he watched me. "I'm also going to give you a sheet for a blood test for him too. So we know if he has any other problems. But right now he looks like he only needs an IV and some love from his Dad and new Mom." He smiled writing something into the new file. He handed me a piece of paper with the stuff to get a blood test. I nodded slipping it into Fin's diaper bag.

"What do you mean by 'new mom'?" I asked him clipping Fin into the car seat.

"If you need to think of that for yourself because I know you know that you are asking as if you really were Fin's real mom." I looked up at him. "Drive safe kid. I'll meet you at the hospital in about an hour alright? I have one appointment that I have to go to but then I will meet you at the base hospital." I nodded walking over to Taylor. He stood by the door on his crutches ready to go.

"Come on let's get this over with." I told him as I felt the tears rolling down my face. He nodded walking behind me as I walked out into the elevator to go to the parking lot. I put Fin down pressing the G ground level to get to the parking lot. Taylor looked at me as I stood there fighting tears, really just fighting to keep my cool.

"Bailey?" He asked me.

"Yeah?" I asked looking turning to look at him. He pulled me into his arms holding me tightly as I started to sob.

"It's going to be okay Baby. It's going to be okay." He whispered as his own tears rolled down his face. "It's going to be okay."
