TJ walked into the hospital room looking like he hasn't slept in so long. He closed his eyes fighting the tears as he saw me lying lifeless on the hospital bed. He sat down next to Audrey laying his head on her shoulder. "Why won't she wake up Aurie?" He whispered into her t-shirt. She stroked his shaved head.

"I don't know why TJ. The doctor said the only thing we can do is wait. I hate this just as much as you do." She sighed kissing his head.
"I want my little sister back. Not hanging on the boarder of life and death. My heart hurts." He cried into his girlfriends shoulder. Audrey held him close to her.
"Shh it's going to be okay TJ. She is fighter. She will get through this." She said as a tear rolled down her face. "I know she is going to get over this TJ. Oh god I hope so." TJ held her tighter to himself. He looked over at me as I lay there.
"Audrey, something's wrong." She looked up.
"TJ nothing's wrong." She said putting her hand on his cheek. He wouldn't take his eyes off me.
"Audrey something is wrong get the doctor." He got up quickly.
"TJ nothing is-" He cut her off.
"Just get the doctor!" He snapped at her putting his hand over my cheek looking at the ventilator that was helping me breathe. "I know something is wrong." He looked over at her. "Please." He begged. She nodded running out of the room. "Ryan please, please be okay."He stroked my hair gently. Audrey came back into the room with the doctor on her tail.
"What's the problem here?" He asked looking at my heart monitor.
"I just have this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that is telling me that something is wrong with her." TJ said looking at him than back at me.
"Kid nothing is wrong with her…." He trailed off looking at my heart monitor again.
"Why is dropping?" Audrey asked in an unsure voice. The doctor looked at her quickly.
"I don't know." He said quickly. "Nurse I need a crash cart!" He yelled out the door. TJ watched as my heart rate started to drop faster.
"Ryan? Ryan! Ryan!" TJ yelled as I started to flat line. "Please Ryan, please." He cried to me as Audrey held him back as best she could as the nurses ran in. "Ry please don't leave me! PLEASE!" He screamed. The doctor took the paddles out and rubbed them together as the nurse switched the machine ventilator to the handheld one.
"Clear." The doctor called out making all the nurses let go as the doctor put one of the paddles over my heart and the other under my breast. My chest pushed up as the volts went through me. A nurse put her hand on my neck checking my pulse as another nurse pumped air into my lungs.
"Nothing." She said pulling her hand back. The machine was still flat lining. TJ watched in horror holding Audrey as she cried.
"Come on Ryan please." He whispered watching them shock me again. "Please Sis; I need you here with me. I need my baby sister." He closed his eyes as the tears over flew his eyes. The doctor looked at TJ.
"Kid last sock before we lose her and this baby." Dad ran into the room watching in horror. The doctor looked at Dad before back at me. "One last time. Clear." The nurses jumped back as the shock went into my body. TJ broke down crying as the beeping filled the room. "We got a heartbeat." The doctor smiled shaking his head.
"That's good right?" Audrey asked in a small voice. He looked at her as they hooked me back up to the ventilator.
"Yes. It's good. I hate to say this but we really don't what's wrong. They best can do is see if the baby is okay. If she doesn't wake up the best we can do is to save the baby and make sure it's okay." The doctor looked at a nurse. "Get me a fetal heart monitor from upstairs please. Get it fast." The nurse nodded walking out of the room.
"She isn't going to wake up is she?" TJ asked wiping his tears roughly. The doctor looked at him.
"There is a chance that she won't ever wake up, and there is chance that she will wake up in an hour and be happy. But chances aren't anything. Actions are. Right now. It's up to Ryan, on if she really wants to wants to wake up." TJ nodded biting his lip as he looked at Dad. Mom was tucked under Dad's arms crying into his chest quietly.
"My sister might never wake up again?" He asked the doctor closing his eyes.
"I'm sorry Son." The doctor said as the nurse brought in a fetal heart monitor. The doctor nodded at her before taking it to hook up to my slightly bigger belly.
"Doc what's going to happen to the baby?" Mom asked looking at me. The doctor looked at the machine than my mom.
"If we get a heart that's good. If he don't that's not good. It's really all I could say really right now." He pulled up the gown and put the sensor on my belly. Everyone waited silently for the heart beat of the little baby. "There is a chance that its heart won't beat because of the shocks. There is no sure thing on if he or she is going to live. The shocks could have gone to the baby and they could have stopped its heart." He said putting a little bit of gel on the sensor as Mom stared at him in horror.
"My Baby could be dead and so could her baby? I could lose both of them?" She asked breaking down crying.
"There is only one way to figure that out." He said putting the sensor on my belly moving it around. TJ stared at the bump almost shaking waiting and hoping for the one sound. He closed his eyes as the tears fell down his face. Mom broke down as the sound of a heartbeat filled the room………
