I took a deep breath as I stood there staring at myself in the mirror of the bathroom. Tanner had handed me my sweatpants and one of his t-shirts so I could change into to get ready. Doctor Fisher said that I was allowed to go home if I took it easy. I had to make sure that if anything happened to the babies to call him and he will get his best pediatrician for them. I nodded my head at him but that was about it. Now I was looking at myself as I brushed the knots out of my hair. Do I look like a Mother now? I don't feel like it. But when I look at my babies, my children, I felt like a mom. I loved it. I couldn't have it any other way. I put everything back in my bag before I walked out. Tanner was getting help from a nurse on how to hook the twins into their car seat so they were safe. He looked up at me and smiled as he finished. "Thank you." He smiled at her before he walked over to me. "You feeling a little better now?" He asked wrapping his arms around me so my head was between his folded arms.

"Better after my shower, thank you." I smiled kissing him. He smiled down at me.
"You are welcome Beautiful." He nodded. I heard a noise coming from the babies making me look over at them. Wyatt started to cry loudly making me walk over to me quickly.
"Aw what's wrong little man?" He cried moving around looking for his pacifier. I smiled putting it back in his mouth stopping his crying as he slowly fell back asleep. I gently pulled his blanket back into place fixing it for him. Tanner wrapped his arm around me.
"Come on sit down while we wait for your parents to get here to help us take the babies home. I don't want you to over work yourself." I nodded sitting down on the couch next to the hospital bed.
"Do you have the diaper bag ready?" I asked closing my eyes. I felt a hand stroke my semi wet hair.
"Yes everything is all ready for them. You're still tired; maybe you should stay here a little longer…." He trailed off as my eyes popped open.
"No I'm fine Tanner I swear. I don't want to stay here any longer. Please don't make me stay." I said almost jumping out of my seat. Tanner put his hand under my chin making me look at him. He ran his eyes over my face looking for any sign of distress.
"I won't make you stay but if I think you are lying to me when you say you are fine I promise you I will take you over my shoulder and drag you here by myself. Do you understand me?" I nodded my head.
"I understand you bossy." I smiled at him as Dad walked into the room. "Hey you said you were going to be here about an hour ago." I said to him. He looked over at me.
"Sorry your Mom was going to come because I was on duty, but she got called into work all of a sudden so I was told that I had to get my ass over here to help you when I was done." He smiled coming over to kiss my head.
"Oh that's okay Dad, I guess I can forgive you. Will Mom be coming over later to see them than?" I asked standing up to get ready to go. Tanner handed me his hoodie to put on since it was getting cold outside now since it was getting closer to winter. I zipped up the hoodie and picked up the diaper bag off the floor. I fell in love with this bag. It was perfect. It was a black camo bag with Wyatt and Bailey sewn on to the top. Bailey's name was in pink as Wyatt's was in blue. It was perfect. I loved it! A nurse came in with a wheel chair and had me sit down it so she could take me out. Dad and Tanner each grabbed a car seat as I had the diaper bag on my lap. Tanner had my bag over his shoulder holding it not letting me touch it. The nurse rolled me out to the entrance of the hospital. "Well this is where I say good bye." She smiled at us. I gently stood up because my stomach still hurt a lot. Tanner walked by my side as he held Bailey in his other hand.
"Thank you Ma'am." He smiled at her outing his arm around my shoulder.
"You are welcome Marine." She smiled going back into the hospital. I looked at Dad as he smiled at us.
"You ready to go home?" Tanner asked whispering in my ear. I nodded my head.
"I can't wait to sleep in my own bed again, with you next to me." I smiled. "And no hospital food. Real normal edible food." Dad started to laugh at me. "Oh I can't wait." I giggled. Tanner rolled his eyes walking us over to a brand new 2009 Escalade. "What's this?" I asked looking at it.
"Well your truck might have some room and I thinking maybe that I could take your truck and you could use this for the babies and you." I looked at him confused. "Well I got nervous thinking about you and my children in a pick-up truck so to ease my mind I got something with more room and it was safer."
"But how could we afford this Tanner?" I asked wide eyed at the truck.
"Well I did help Baby Girl. So did your grandpa so you guys weren't off to bad. Well really Poppy and I wanted you too to be safe and happy so we got you it." Dad smiled opening the door and put Wyatt into the base of the car seat which was already in the car. "Come on get your ass in the car so I can take you back home." He smiled as I got into the middle seat so I was between Bailey and Wyatt. Tanner got into the driver's seat and looked at us.
"You ready to go home?" He asked. I nodded ready to get the hell out of the hospital and back into our apartment…………
