I laid my head on Tanner's shoulder as we drove to the reception hall off base. Tanner kissed my head gently smiling. "I'm so happy." He whispered. I looked up at him.

"I am too." I giggled at him as he took my face into his and pressed his lips to mine.
"So how does it feel to be Mrs. Ryan Williams?" I couldn't help but smile.
"It feels amazing Tanner, I couldn't be happier." He looked at me.
"Just think we leave to drive down to Cali in a couple days." He sighed shaking his head.
"I know, but we are going for Bailey. That's what matters Tanner. Her. I would go to the end of the earth for her." I nodded at him laying my head down on his shoulder. Tanner pressed his lips to my head.
"I know Babe. Bailey is important. More important anything." He sighed leaning his head back onto the seat. There was a comfortable silence in the car as the driver drove us. "Ryan can you promise me something?" I looked up at him.
"Sure tell me what you want me to promise." He looked down at me.
"No matter what happens with Bailey, we will always be a family. Even if we," he stopped short, not finishing his sentence. I watched as the tears rolled down his face. I reached my hand up to gently stroke his cheek.
"Go on." He nodded.
"If we lose Bailey." He closed his eyes. "We stick together no matter what. We stay strong for Wyatt. I know what it's like to lose a sibling and it sucks. I don't want that to happen to my son. We be there for him, through thick and thin." I nodded my head at him.
"I promise to never do what your parents did. I could never turn my back on my baby like they did.I love you Tanner, and I love my kids, no matter what. Nothing can change it. I love you." I pressed my lips to his as he nodded, the tears still rolling down his, and my cheeks. I wiped the tears away as the driver opened the door for us to get out of. Tanner nodded helping me out of the car. Tanner took my hand as we walked into the air conditioned room. I heard running feet making me look up, well down. Wyatt stood there in his little suit looking as cute as ever. He ran up to me, surprisingly well, and lifted his hand to be lifted up. I picked him up holding him to my chest. He looked at me with a big pout on his face. "What's wrong my handsome little man?" He showed me his hand before he burst into tears.
"Mama, Mama, Mama, Mama." He cried at me. I turned his hand over to see a scratch on the back of his hand that was bleeding lightly.
"You have a boo-boo. Let me kiss it better for you." I brought it to my lips to kiss it better as his little face still wore his father's frown. "You poor little thing." I whispered kissing his wet cheeks. Tanner looked at his son as he cuddled into my neck. My poor baby. Tanner tried to touch him, but he just pushed his hand away clinging to my neck, letting out a small cry. Mom and Dad walked over to us. Bailey was snuggled up to my Dad, but once she saw Tanner she reached for him with a big smile on her face before cuddling into him with one of her cute baby sighs.
"Just like you and TJ. You always wanted your Dad when TJ always wanted me. It's funny seeing them; it's like seeing you two all over again." She smiled at us. I smiled at Tanner. He leaned over to kiss me making Bailey giggle. I smiled at her as Mom laughed.
"Come on Children it's time for the party to start."I nodded walking off with Mom and Dad with Tanner on my trail as everyone started to pile into the room. I sat down at the table and gently rocked Wyatt as people congratulated Tanner and me on the marriage. People gave their speeches on us and funny stories from when we were little. It was so funny and I am sure Tanner blushed more than once. Tanner and I had our first dance to Far Away by Nickelback and it was amazing. I know I could never forget this day, never. The DJ looked at everyone.
"Now it's time for the father daughter dance. May the bride please find her father and make her way into the middle of the dance floor." Mom took Wyatt from where he was sitting on my lap again, this time he was happier than before. Dad walked over to me taking my hand as he gently lifted me off the chair and took me into the middle of the dance floor. I looked at him as the music started to play. I Loved Her First by Heartland filtered through the speakers.
Look at the two of you dancing that way
Lost in the moment and each others face
So much in love your alone in this place
Like there's nobody else in the world
I was enough for her not long ago
I was her number one
She told me so
And she still means the world to me
Just so you know
So be careful when you hold my girl
Time changes everything
Life must go on
And I'm not gonna stand in your way

But I loved her first and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it still hard to give her away
I loved her first

How could that beautiful women with you
Be the same freckle face kid that I knew
The one that I read all those fairy tales to
And tucked into bed all those nights
And I knew the first time I saw you with her
It was only a matter of time

But I loved her first and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But its still hard to give her away
I loved her first

From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
Someday you might know what I'm going through
When a miracle smiles up at you
I loved her first
I felt the tears rolling down my face as Dad whispered the words into my ear as my head laid on his shoulder. "You will always be my baby girl." He smiled kissing me. I looked over at Tanner making me sob. There he stood, smiling at Bailey as he danced with her, just like Dad was doing with me. Dancing with his daughter. "You know I never got to ask you that one question I would ask on big events." I looked up at him. He looked down. "When you were little I would always say 'Ry-Ry how's your hero?' and you want to know what you would say to me?" I nodded. "You would say, 'My Daddy the Marine, My Marine'. Used to make everything so much easier. So I'm going to ask you again. Who's your hero Ry-Ry?" I looked up at him before looking at Tanner. He stood next to Hunter, who was holding Baby Lucas to her chest, TJ, who had his arm over Audrey's shoulders, and Logan, who stood there, thankfully not with that bitch.
"Dad, My Hero's My Marines." I smiled up at him. For once I wasn't alone anymore. I had my heroes. Every last one of them..............
