................ “Okay I think that guy needs to apologize or take on a dude his own size” the guy said looking me over more from concern than anything else “Are you sure you’re okay?”

“I’ve been tackled harder than that” I smiled getting to my feet and dusting the sand off of me he stood up with me and glances across to two other guys.

“By a guy that size” he raised an eyebrow

“Well yeah it’s normally him doing the tackling” I said rubbing my ribs there was going to be a bruise.

“Oh… boy friend?” the guy asked.

“Well…” I started

“Hey you guys want to join in and Play” Flynn asked running over as the other broke to get a drink. He put his arm round my shoulder. “I think some of the girls are backing out of the game” he nudged me with his hip

“I’m not surprised if you go round tackling them like you did to her” one of the other guys walked over. “Dude you take down one of us like tht not a girl”

“She can take it she’s a tough ass” Flynn laughed pausing and looking at me “You are okay right… I mean I didn’t feel anything” he tipped his head

“I’m fine I think it looked worse than it was” I assured him

“Good the last thing I need is the Col yelling” he dropped a kiss on the top of my head. “So you guys want to play” The guy with the blue eyes was looking puzzled.

“Sure” he nodded.

“I’m going to go talk to Riley” I said looking to where she was talking to Alex “Before I throw her in the ocean” Flynn started to laugh.

“In that white top it should be fun” he winked at me nodding at the White Marine Corps shirt she was wearing.

“Oh God Flynn” I groaned, I looked at the guy who was talking quietly to his friends. “Thanks for the hand” I smiled.

‘You’re welcome” he nodded, I walked away pulling the baby doll dress off revealing the shorts and bikini top underneath.

“Whoa I knew coming to the beach tonight would be worth it” one of the guy’s whistled making Flynn and the blue eyed guy look at him. “What? A guy has to look at a good looking woman” he laughed “Come on Jay you noticed her first” he nudged the guy who’d helped me up.

“Dude that’s my baby sister you’re talking about” Flynn became defensive. The guy held up his hands.

“I’m sorry” he apologized “No offence but she’s cute”

“Corey” The Blue eyed guy shook his head.

“Okay if we can stop undressing my sister for two minutes” Flynn shuddered “You guys want to play?”

“Yeah… I’m J.J. by the way this is Corey with the big mouth and Danny” the blue eyed guy introduced himself and his friends.

“Flynn” Flynn shook their hands and walked with them over to the fire “and this is Alex, Kenny Jon, Allie, Zoe, Missy, Riley and you’ve met B” he pointed to where I’d pulled Riley to the side and was deep in conversation with her. “these guys are joining the game”

“Nice more guys” Jon laughed rubbing his hands together “at least we can get a proper game in”

“Hey” Zoe through a football at his head. “I think we need to do Navy V’s Marines”

‘Oh and watch the Marines wipe the beach with you” Flynn scoffed. He looked at J.J. “so pick a side”

“How many Marine’s do we have and how many Navy? and we’ll even up the teams” J.J. shrugged.

“Alex, Kenny, Jon and Zoe and Missy are Navy which leaves Me, B, Riley and Allie on the Marine side of it” Flynn said narrowing hs eye’s

“I’m going on a water coffee and soda run with Missy” Allie said holding up her hands “And I think they’ll be talking for a while to come” she nodded in the direction of me and Riley.

“Okay so it looks like we’re Marines” J.J. laughed

“Fine by me” Flynn nodded pulling off his t-shirt.

“Nice ink” Corey said pointing at the tattoo

“Thanks she has the same thing” he pointed at me ‘Come on let’s play before we lose the light”……………….

………………….. “He wants to ask you to the movies” Riley begged “You should get out more”

“I get out plenty” I groaned “I don’t like Alex or Kenny like that… so stop trying to get us hooked up”

“I wasn’t?” I looked at her “Okay maybe I was… but I thought that if you went on a date you’d take Flynn”

“Why the hell would I take Flynn out on a date?” I pulled a face Riley looked down “Oh for god sake history doesn’t have to repeat itself like it did for your Uncle and my Mom if you want to ask my brother out on a date then ask him” I threw my arms up

“I can’t he doesn’t lie me like that” she sighed sitting down on the chilly sand.

“How do you now?”

“Because he’s Flynn… come on you have the perfect Brother the Jock of the school and the Marine to be” she looked at me as I sat next to her. “I’m just me”

“Exactly… we’ve known you forever and love you to death” I put my arm round her “And after some of the comments I’ve heard him make about you I think he’s too shy to ask you out… Leave it to me” I got up. “I’m going to play football”

“Hey” She got up and caught my arm “Who’s the guy who helped you up” I shrugged and shook my head.

“Someone that wanted to take on Flynn for the tackle” I said watching as he and Flynn took down Alex “I’ll say one thing he has amazing eyes” I ran off to the game……….

“B sub for me” Zoe groaned as Corey helped her to her feet after bringing her down.

“Okay but you owe me” I laughed she waved at me and headed for the fire and Riley.

“Oh and look who comes back for more” Flynn heckled me I put my hands on my hips.

“The bigger you are the harder you fall” I teased back. “Oooo like at home tonight” he rolled his eyes as I stepped back and received the ball from Kenny. I turned and ran past Flynn easily dodging him.

“I’m sorry” was all I heard before being brought down more gently than when it was my brother only difference was I was on my back looking up at J.J. who was lay on top of me as Flynn grabbed the ball and carried on running.

“You said sorry before you tackled me” I laughed.

“I was brought up not to tackle my sisters roughly” he chuckled moving his arms each side of my head to support his weight he paused for a minute before blinking those amazing eyes and getting up in one quick move. “Here” he pulled me up to my feet “I get nervous playing with girls” he laughed.

‘Oh dude I knew there was something funny about you” Danny smirked putting his hand on his friends shoulder “But then there was that incident in Japan”

“Danny Really” I watched J.J. turn red and swat his friend.

“What I was just saying” Danny laughed and ran off. “Oh we’re done with the game by the way Your brother ended up in the ocean” He noded to where Flynn was drying himself by the fire.

“I’m sorry about him” J.J. rubbed the back of his neck.

“I’m intrigued by Japan” I laughed “I think you’ll have to tell us more” I started for the fire, hearing him groan behind me before jogging to catch up to me……………………..
