.................... “Did you kids just get married” The old woman asked that was sitting across the aisle from us as the plane pulled up to the Jet way at Dallas/Fort Worth airport.
“No Ma’am” J.J. smiled “we just came from a wedding”
“Shame you make a beautiful couple” she reached over and patted J.J.’s arm “I had a Marine once and he was brought home covered with the Flag” I felt J.J. squeeze my hand. “Don’t let things go unsaid because some moments you can’t get back” She got up from her seat “It’s hard loving a Military man but worth it at the end of the day” she smiled once more at the two us before she took her bag and walked down the plane.
“She’s right” I said as I got up and J.J. stepped back so I could go in front of him “It’s hard loving a Marine but you’re more than worth it” I put my hands on the sides of his face and kissed him “I love you”
“I love you too” he rubbed his nose against mine. we walked out into the arrival gate Brody was standing waiting
“You have to be kidding me” he laughed as he saw the two of us. “Breana you look hot honey” he hugged me and kissed “Dude are you just trying to show up the cow boy brother you have?” he hugged J.J.
“Nope we came right from the wedding” J.J. said yawning and putting his arm round me “So does Dad know about the party?”
“Hell no” Brody took my bag from me as J.J. picked up his own keeping me close to him as I could feel my eyelids beginning to droop “He has no idea he thinks he’s coming to help with some branding” I stumbled over my heels “Whoa I think we have to get you home and tucked up in bed?” Brody laughed opening the door to his truck “Then you can be all good to ride your Marine”
“That’s what I had planned for tonight but instead he wanted to fly here” I yawned.
‘He was talking about the horse” J.J. chuckled lifting me up and putting me in the truck.
“Oh right yeah” I shook my head and drifted off to sleep the words of the old woman on the plane running round in my head………………
…………….. “You’ll wake her up if you do that” I heard Brody’s laughter coming from somewhere as I tried to open my eyes.
“She won’t notice” J.J. laughed
“What are you two doing” I mumbled blinking against the sunlight coming through the open drapes.
“See I told you” Brody grinned. I sat up
“Hey hold on” J.J. jumped on the bed and pulled up the sheet “The last thing my brother needs to see is the underwear I should have taken advantage of last night” he laughed kissing me
“Dude… that bra page 20 of the Victoria’s secret catalogue” Both J.J. and I looked at Brody “What I’m a man” Brody held out his hands his cowboy hat held carefully in one of them. “I’ll meet you outside” he turned on his heel and walked away I looked at J.J.
“Okay so what’s going on?” I narrowed my eyes and looked at him.
“Nothing and good morning baby” he pushed me back on the bed and kissed me his dog tags swinging free I linked my fingers in the chain and held him there.
“Yeah right Spill Marine” I used my free hand to hold the waist band of his jeans so he was trapped.
“It’s a surprise now you’ve woken up” he said raining little butterfly kisses along my jaw. He held himself over me on one arm and the other hand pulled away the sheet and he hitched my leg up over his hip.
“Are you trying to distract me?” I moaned as the feeling of his teeth nipping the skin on my neck made my eyes roll back.
“Yes Ma’am” he breathed in my ear
“Good because it’s working”…………………………
………….. I pulled on my jeans as J.J. lay back on the bed the sheet thrown over his waist loosely
“So you going to get another Tattoo?” he asked casually
“I was thinking of it” I nodded reaching for my t-shirt. “But I can’t decide what I want”
“Does it have to be something Marine?”
“I like to show my pride for all my guys in the Corps” I said pulling on my t-shirt. J.J. started to laugh

“I bet you won’t wear that in front of your Dad” he sat up
“Riley brought it for me for a gift” I smiled “And it’s true” I winked at him
“Hey are you going to hog B all day?” we jumped as Ariana opened the door.
“Ari knock” J.J.moaned pulling the sheet tighter round him
“Oooo Mom’s going to kill you. You got a tattoo” she giggled pointing to J.J. “And Bro the sheet’s not hiding anything when you have bright light shiny from behind it” I looked at the sheet was really leaving nothing to the imagination.
“Ari” he picked up a pillow from the bed and threw it at her, she caught it
“B come on I want to go riding with you” she said ignoring her brother who was about to turn purple
“I’m coming” I looked at J.J. “I’ll meet you outside” I slapped his bare ass before I followed his little sister out of the house……………
