“Here you go” Bryony said handing me a plate of food.
“Thanks” I smiled taking it from her and sitting at the table with Lea and Cassie.“Happy you guys are finally here” Cassie asked.
“Relieved, Happy, Content, Exhausted” I laughed.
“Of course I do why wouldn’t I” I said looking at her.
“Come talk to me outside” She said getting up from the table and walking out to the pool, I looked at Leah and B and picked up my bottle of water and followed Cassie, we both sat on two of the loungers.
“I know after your Dad died you and Matt” she paused “this is going to sound a bit hard but you both got enough money to make things comfortable for you” she sighed “and I guess I thought that maybe you’d rather be going to college” I smiled at her and squeezed her hand.
“Oh I’ve thought a lot about it, I’ve talked to Drew and Matt a lot” I said “After everything I’ve had to deal with college isn’t what I want at the moment”.
“Are you sure” Cassie sighed looking a little concerned.
“I’m very sure” I nodded. “I want to change my life around and for it to be normal for once, I’m happy with Drew and all I want now is just work and enjoy it”. I smirked, “as long as you still want me to work with you”.
“I’ll go get the folder for you” She laughed getting up as Drew stepped out and looked at both of us.
“Everything okay” He smiled.
“I told Joe I changed my college course from the engineering to the Architecture” he said wrapping his arms round me and kissing my head.
“You planning on joining the family business” I laughed as he stroked my back.
“What B and Matt” I teased Drew smiled and shook his head. I moved away from him and lifted up his left hand and looked at him.
“I told you one day it would fit on this hand I just had to let the swelling go down” He shrugged “I want people to know I’m off limits totally, and they need to know I’m in love with the sweetest hottest girl in the world” I put my hands on either side of his face and kissed him.
“I love you so much”” I sighed lifting his hand again and spun the ring on his finger………………………..
“Hey Autumn” Cassie called from the office, I walked in.
“Yep” I said walking in looking at the pad I had in my hand “I just called the florist and told them that the pink roses were unacceptable because they looked half dead” I said putting the pad down on the desk “And they’ll replace them in the next 12 hours as soon as they get the shipment in”.
“No problem” I smiled.
“And we have a family dinner planned tonight Trent and Leah have decided the 19th of August for their wedding so we need to start working on it” she said rubbing her hands together “So we need to work fast , Matt and Bryony are welcome to come as well”.
“6.30” Cassie said picking up the phone I picked up my purse and car keys.
‘Oh I’ll swing by the printers and pick up the invitations samples then so we can show Trent and Leah tonight”.
“Good morning” she smirked picking up Cassie’s planner “You come for this”.
“Yep” I smiled sitting on the edge of the desk. ‘And I hear we have a dinner tonight to talk about the wedding of the year” I laughed she nodded.
“You want to go see the guys they’re on lunch at the moment” she said looking at me as Joe hung up the phone.
“Sure” I nodded.
“Who told you” I smirked.
“The florist I called to order my wife some flowers for our anniversary and he was telling me that Cassie has a tough cookie working for her” I felt my face go red. “Nice job” he high fived me “Sometimes my wife isn’t tough enough with people” he walked out of the office.
