…………………… I sat on one of the stools watching as Joe and Mike set up a Karaoke machine in the living room, Leah walked over to me.
“Wow what a night” she said sitting next to me.
‘You guys new what he was doing all along” I said looking at her.
“I know it was the way dropped the fork when you saw the ring it was classic” she said handing me a bottle of water.
“I was shocked” I said taking a drink.
“Well at least you can try on wedding gowns with me tomorrow” I started to choke on my water.
“Tomorrow it’s Sunday” I said “and I’m not getting married till he’s finished school” I nodded in the direction of Drew who was singing badly with Matt to Fall out boy’s I don’t care.
“You don’t have to be getting married in the next few months to try on gowns” she shrugged “and I need to get you back for laughing at me in those ones today” She took my drink from me and grabbed my hand. “It’s time we did what we did in the car this afternoon”.
“Nooooooo I’m not singing here” I laughed.
‘Come on we’re all family” She said tugging on my arm…………….
……………………. We finally got home that around 3am I sat on the bed and kicked off my shoes as Drew came from the bathroom.
“Have fun tonight” he asked as I stood up and pulled my dress over my head.
“Oh yeah” I smiled hanging my dress up s he came behind me and slid his hands round my waist “I’m so glad that parking lot is deserted at night”.
“Yeah so am I” he said kissing me neck again “Because I’m to beat now to do anything other than snuggle up and sleep I turned round and looked at him and pouted.
“Aw and I was hoping for the next go round” I laughed trailing my fingers down his chest.
“I think it’s your turn for a cold shower” he said picking me up and taking me into the bathroom.
“Don’t you dare” I squealed as he turned on the water while holding me round the waist.
“Why I had to do it earlier” he teased.
“I know but I can see part of you wants the next go round no matter how tired you are” I laughed
‘Mind of its own he said turning off the water and tugging me to the bed.
“I like its way of thinking” I smirked pushing him back on the bed……………………………….
………………….. I woke to the sound of my phone ringing I rolled over and grabbed it.
Me * Hmmmm
Leah * you’re still in bed it’s 10am.
Me * we didn’t get in till after 3 and then well put it like this Drew shirt would be inside out again if he wasn’t lay here naked.
Leah * gee thanks for that mental image.
Me * serves you right for waking me up.
Leah I need you B and Sabrina to meet me at the beach bar by 11.30.
Me * why.
Leah * I get married in 3 weeks 6 days and the only dress I have is Tori’s flower girl one I need bridesmaids dresses for you and B and I need a wedding gown.
Me * whoa what.
Leah * none of my brothers wanted to be bridesmaid for me so I I turn to my friends dumbass
Me * Cool I’ll wake the others and you’d better be buying the coffee.
Leah * get here for 11.30 and it will still be hot.
I hung up the phone.
“Okay new rule” drew groaned “Cell phones do not come in to the bedroom at night” he looked at me “How were you telling I was naked”.
“Leah” I said getting out of bed “She want us girls to meet her and go dress shopping and she wants me and B to be her bridesmaids”.
‘Sweet Trent asked me to be his best man last night “ he said grabbing me round the waist and pulling me back on to the bed “I get to take the bridesmaid to bed” he laughed.
“I think Matt might be a bit pissed about that” I teased as he pinned me down.
“You know what I mean” he said kissing me “I suppose I need to let you go get ready”.
“Well I have to wake you Sabrina and B and shower and meet Leah by 11.30 but I guess I can wait 2 minutes” I laughed.
“Hey I last way longer than that” he said tickling me “Charming I buy you diamonds and this is what I get”.
“I’m sorry” I smiled “tell you what I’ll go wake up the other two you go start a warm shower and we’ll share it” Drew was out of bed before I had even finished the sentence I got up and pulled on Drew’s t-shirt from the night before and walked out to wake up the other two girls………………….
…………… We got to the beach bar at the same time as Leah did.
“Wow I half expected to be waiting for you guys” she said hugging us.
“You said you we’re getting the coffee there was no way I was going to be late” I said as we walked inside we all sat round a table and ordered the coffees.
“Right I need to find a dress today I have so much other stuff to do it’s not funny” she sighed.
“That’s why you have me and Cassie working on it so you don’t have to do a whole load of stuff” I said reaching into my bag for my folder.
“I know but it seems like I still have flowers and cakes and food and invites and table plans to do”.
“Okay the invitations went out 2 days ago fed ex’d” I laughed “The flower guy is coming to see you at work on Tuesday and Cassie will be there as well and You and Trent have an appointment on Wednesday day to taste cakes and I know Drew wants to go with you guys to that so I’ll probably come along for that even though after last night I’ll be scared to lift the fork” I smiled closing the folder.
“Wow talk about having it under control” Sabrina said shaking her head as we all got up from the table.
“Yeah well I can actually say I love my job” I said walking over to my car…………………
