………………. We watched the game it got to half time I turned round to talk to Luke.
“So how’s Oshkosh turning out for college” I grinned. He shrugged.
“It’s okay but I wish we’d moved further away from home rather than just 2 hours away” he sighed “Come on lets go get a drink. Hey anyone else want anything”. We had orders shouted at us from almost everyone else Leah Maggie and B were all chatting, I walked up the steps with Luke.
“So everything’s still good with you and Maggie even though college isn’t that good” I said linking his arm.
“Yeah were fine” he smiled “you seem happier than you have in long time”.
“Whole new start works wonders I guess” I sighed “I love where we live I love my job and lifes just really good, see I told you guys you should have moved down here with us”.
“I know you never know maybe we’ll transfer” he said hugging me we got the food and drinks and made our way back to the seats, I sat down by Leah.
“So just think this time last week we were sitting with hair in rollers” I laughed.
“I know and I didn’t get to thank you for saying what you did to my Mom” she smirked.
“She was pissing a few people off and after what you said to us the night before about you wishing you’d both run away to get married I had to tell her that her attitude sucked” I said “I’m not going to be on top of her Christmas card list but hey”.
“Well I love you for it” Leah said hugging me “Oh I have to give this back” she handed me the box with the dragonfly pin in it “Thanks you”
“You’re welcome” I smiled putting the pin in my purse. “So when are you going to see about Cassie’s dress” I whispered looking round But Cassie was talking to Trent and Luke.
“after work on Monday” Leah nodded. ‘Don’t worry okay”
“Okay” I smiled “I got Tori a sweet blue dress the other day as well so it’s almost done Drew’s taking the guys looking for their outfits”.
“It’s going to be so cool” She laughed finally it got to the end of the game they’d won I couldn’t wait to see Drew we made our way through the crowds till we got to where the barriers were outside of the locker rooms.
“I didn’t expect there to be so many people waiting here for the teams” Maggie said as we tried to get to the front.
“I know” I laughed as the door opened and the team poured out of the locker room the cheer that went up was almost deafening. Matt was stood right behind me and put his fingers in his mouth and whistled as loud as he could Drew looked round immediately and Spotted Luke and Matt, he walked over to the barriers and got swamped with pats on the back and handshakes.
“Excuse me guy I need to see my girl” Drew laughed to some of the crowd round him I pushed my way through he put his hands on my waist and lifted me over the barrier and kissed me before I could say anything, he rested his head against mine “Hey you”.
“Nice game baby” I smiled.
“Thank you” he said looking round “Did I imagine it or did I see Luke” he said as we walked to the parking lot.
“Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudddddddddddeeeeeeeeeee” Drew spun round as Luke launched himself into Drew’s arms.
“Okay down boy” Maggie laughed.
“Wow I didn’t think you guys would come down here I thought you’d be watching the Badgers play” He laughed as Luke let go of him and he hugged Maggie and kissed her cheek.
“You think when we found out you made the team today we’d miss it” Luke said laughing.
“Nice game” Joe said walking over and hugging Drew “We’re putting the grill on for a celebration so come right to ours ok”.
“We will” Drew nodded “You two want to ride with us”.
“Sure” we all piled in Drew’s truck and headed home first before going to Joe and Cassie’s Drew took Luke and Maggie on a quick tour of the house while I got changed I came out of our room and walked into the kitchen putting some papersin my purse for Joe to sign Maggie came in to me.
“So what would you say if I told you we wanted to move down here”.
“Your bedroom is the one next to Matt and B’s” I smiled.
“Really you wouldn’t mind us staying here”.
“I’d have to make sure Joe and Cassie said it was ok it’s still their house at the end of the day and we don’t have to pay rent” I shrugged.
“That would be so cool” she grinned. “Drew was saying you’re putting a surprise wedding together for Joe and Cassie”.
“Yep the 25th of September” I nodded grabbing a soda from the fridge and handing her one as well “It’s been fun trying to keep everything a secret from her especially when I work with her” I laughed shaking my head “but I think I’ve pulled it off”, My phone rang.
Me * hey B.
Bryony * can you do me a huge favor in the top draw in my dresser is my spare sunglasses Matt just sat on mine and broke them can you bring them with you.
Me * sure oh and Mags and Luke have something to tell you when we get there.
Bryony * fine se you soon.
I hung up and looked at Maggie.
“Go round up the guys and tell them we need to go” I said grabbing my purse and heading for B’s room I pulled open the draw and pulled out her glasses I looked at what was underneath them as Maggie put her head round the door.
“Apparently we’re taking your car” she laughed “Whats up”.
“I wasn’t snooping but as I picked up B’s glasses look what was under them” I said pointing into the draw Maggie looked over my shoulder.
“Oh crap… you think…”
“I don’t know but it might explain a few things” I sighed closing the draw……………………
