............................. we walked out of the room Drew put his arms round me and Kissed me.
“What were you two doing” he asked.
“Getting B’s glasses” I said holding them up. “I take it I’m driving”.
“I’m starting to ache” he said pouting.
“Does that mean I get to get you in the hot tub later” I smiled picking my keys from the side.
“As long as I get a back rub as well” he winked as we walked out of the house.
“Of course” I nodded.
We drove down to the beach road so Luke and Maggie could see where we lived before I turned away and headed for Joe and Cassie’s.
“OMG” Maggie said as we pulled up their driveway and stopped behind Matt’s truck. “This is huge”.
“This is what Joe does he has a construction company” Drew said as we got out of the car ‘Matt still work for him and so did I till training started”. I pushed open the front door and walked inside.
“Hey guys” Cassie called from the kitchen as we walked in “Guys are all out by the pool” she smiled “And I think I need to say Congratualtions for your first big game” She said hugging Drew “Your Mom has been calling everyone since we got back here” She laughed as Becca walked out of the living room.
“I can’t help being proud of my son” She laughed winking at me .
“Is Joe outside” I asked.
“No he’s in the office” Cassie said walking out of the kitchen to the pool with a huge pitchers of Margaritas.
“I won’t be a minute” I smiled walking to the office and knocking on the door
“It’s open” Joe called out, I pushed open the door Joe was talking to Mike and Leah.
“Yay no you guys are here it means we can get the food cooking” Mike smiled.
“Sorry we took so long” I laughed pulling out the papers for Joe to sign.
“These are just for the surprise” I said handing them to him “I just need your signature”.
“Sure” He nodded “Everything ready I take it”.
“All done apart from the outfits but Leah is handling Cassie’s dress and you guys are going with Drew tomorrow” I nodded taking back the forms and putting them away.
“I’m impressed you’ve got all this together without letting her in on it” Joe smiled leaning back in his chair.
“That’s what you asked for so that’s what you got, now I need to speak to B” I said walking out of the office. Becca and Cassie were talking in the kitchen. “Okay one more question where’s B”.
“She went upstairs to lay down for a while she wasn’t feeling to good again” Cassie said “take her a bottle of water”. She said handing me a bottle from the fridge. Leah came from the office I grabbed her and Maggie by the hand and took them up to the guest room.
“What’s going on” Leah asked.
“We need some support” I said turning the door handle and bumping right into Matt.
‘What are you lot doing” He said grinning a us.
“Coming to make sure B’s okay and to tell you Luke wants to have a talk with you” I shrugged.
“Alright” he said walking down the stairs “I know when it’s girl talk time” Maggie looked at me and raised her eye brows as we went inside.
“Hey “ I said sitting on the edge of the bed B looked at me she was literally white “Still feeling rough” she nodded I handed her the bottle of water and she sat up. “I need to ask you something”.
“What” she sighed.
“When I got your glasses from your dresser there was a pregnancy test under the case for your glasses” she looked at me then at the others Leah sat in the chair in a state of shock. “You think it might have anything to do with the way you are feeling right now”
“I don’t know” she said shaking her head “I’m 2 weeks late and I’m feeling sick every morning well afternoon and evening as well”.
“Did you take the test” Leah said leaning forward on her knees B shook her head “I was to scared to”.
“You need to find out” Maggie said sitting on the other side of Bryony. “You need to know if it’s a baby or just stomach flu”
“I’ll go to the drugstore and get one you can do here tonight” Leah said getting up I threw her my car keys.
“Guys I can’t” B protested.
“You have to” I said “it could be my niece or nephew”. She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
“I’m so scared” she said as a tear rolled down her face
“I’m going to get the test” Leah said walking out of the room.
“We’ll stand by you no matter what and I know Matt will as well” I said hugging her.
“I don’t know he’s so into school at the moment” she said as Maggie handed her a Kleenex “I hate school it’s not what I hoped it was going to be I’d rather work at the restaurant full time” she groaned “But my mom and dad will be so mad if I throw it in and God knows what they’ll say if I am pregnant” she ran her fingers through her hair “And I’m more afraid of Matt’s reaction”.
“Sorry this sounds harsh but if he’s not willing to cover his solider it then there stands a chance there will be consequences” I groaned and swatted her.
“Really not the image of my brother I need” I said shaking my head even B smiled a little. “Look have a nap and when Leah gets back we’ll be here for you okay” I said getting up.
‘Don’t say anything to Matt not yet” She said as we headed for the door.
‘Don’t worry this is for you to tell him” I shrugged I closed the door behind us Maggie linked my arms as we walked down the stairs.
“Put on a happy face” she sighed as we went out to the pool.
“Where’ve you been” Drew asked holding out his arms.
‘Making sure B was okay” I said putting a smile on my face I sat on his lap “I need a hug” I sighed..
“You want to talk” He said rubbing my back “I know something is bothering the crap out of you” I nodded we got up and walked back inside leaving everyone else laughing and chatting we sat on the couch in the living room “Okay baby, spill it”
“B could be pregnant” I said quietly.
“As in Bryony… as in Matt’s better half... As in our roommate” he stammered I nodded “Holy crap”……………………….
