........................The day was finally over I dropped Ben off at his house before driving home to get ready for dinner o got ready and came down the stairs.
“You look cute” Mom smiled “I thought you were wearing that dress”.
“No I packed it I’ll wear it for dinner over the weekend and I didn’t want to travel in it” I said fastening my bag I hugged he. “I’ll call when we get there okay”.
“Have an awesome time” she said opening the front door for me I put Bens bag and mine in the back of my truck and covered them over and drove to Ben’s he walked out of the house as I pulled in the drive way he got in and kissed me.
“You look cute” he smiled.
“So do you” I grinned “Hungry”
“Starving” he nodded
“So is my birthday present under that top” he asked putting his hand on my leg.
“Under the top and the jeans” I nodded his hand moved up my leg I looked at him he bit his lip. “Is that all that you’re thinking about” I giggled.
‘It’s all I’ve thought about since you told me where you went shopping” he smirked “and I’d make you pull over right now if I wasn’t so damn hungry” we both started to laugh as I pulled up at the restaurant we both got out Ben pulled me to him. “You think we can blow this party early and go home”.
“We’ll have to see won’t we” I smiled “I still have something else for you yet” we went inside to the table where a load of the guys from school were already sitting waiting Skye was sitting talking to Gabe at the far end of the table away from Justin. I sat next to Ben we all ordered Ben looked at me.
‘You know those two are over don’t you” he said in my ear.
‘Yeah Skye told me this morning” I sighed.
“He’s got some else lined up” Ben grinned “He doesn’t hang round”.
“Yeah well I think it’s screwed up” I said looking at Justin it was killing me not telling Ben about what had happened. “But then again Skye’s been seeing someone as well” ben raised is eyebrows.
“Who”.
“She won’t tell me so it has to be someone we know, I’m fed up with all of it” I sighed. We sat laughing and talking for the next couple of hours I looked atmy watch. “If you want your other present then we need to leave” a smile spread across Ben’s face and he rubbed his hands together we got up and said our goodbyes and walked out.
“You didn’t speak to Justin” Ben said gettingin my truck.
“At the moment I don’t like him a whole lot” I said backing out of the space and driving away.
‘You taking Skye’s side” Ben asked.
“No I’m not taking sides, I hate the fact he’s been seeing this other girl since August” Ben’s mouth fell open “Exactly he’s pulled the wool over all our eyes for 3 months”
“So he was cheating on Skye from back then” I nodded “How long has she been seeing the other dude”.
“A few weeks” I shrugged I pulled into the airport Ben looked at me.
“What are we doing here” he asked.
‘It’s the other half to your birthday present” I smiled glad that we got to change the subject.
“Oooo mile high club” he laughed.
“Maybe” I said shaking my head “We’re going away for the weekend” I got out of my truck and grabbed both of the bags I threw Bens to him. “Come on we have an hour before we leave” we went inside and checked in and went to sit at the gate.
“So Green Bay fora weekend” Bens said putting h is arm round me “This is so cool”
“We also have tickets for the Packers game on Sunday, we’re staying with Dawn and Rylan” I smirked “Their house is amazing”
‘You know I have the coolest girlfriend in the world” he kissed me again “I love you” the flight was called and we got onboard. “So what’s bugging you” I looked at him I had to tell him it was killing me lying to him.
“You’re not going to like what I’m going to tell you” I said as we took off.
“You’re not pregnant are you” he said panic in his voice.
‘Oh god no” I said shaking my head, Ben let out a huge sigh. “I know what it is Katie wants to talk to you about”,
“How”.
“Last night I didn’t come with you because I needed you out of the house so I could get your things for the trip without you knowing” I said looking at him. “While I was there your Mom called me to say that Kate was ill and could I check on her so I did” Ben never took his eyes off me “I knocked just in case she was sleeping and heard a thud and a slight squeal so I opened the door thinking she must be hurting” I ran my fingers through my hair.
“I’m really not going to like this am I” Ben said closing his eyes.
“No” I shook my head “I found your Sister in bed with someone” I watched as Ben’s jaw tightened he opened his eyes and looked at me.
‘Who was it” he said through clenched teeth.
“I thought it was going to be Ollie” I groaned “now I wished it had of been him”.
“Tess who the hell was messing round with my sister”
“Justin” the color drained from Bens face “Justin has been seeing her since late summer”.
“He’s sleeping with my little sister” I nodded “and you caught them”.
‘Yeah neither of them wanted me to say anything to you, but I couldn’t go all weekend without telling you”.
“Now it make sense why you and Justin aren’t talking” Ben sighed “I’m going to kill him, what the heel was he thinking she’s 14”.
‘I know I pointed that out to him and got a slap round the face for it” I thought Ben was going to explode right there on the plane.
“Justin hit you”
“He slapped me” I nodded.
“Why didn’t you tell me” Ben said looking at my face trying to see if there was any mark.
“Katie wanted the time to tell you herself, but I couldn’t hold it in for any longer” I put my hand on his arm He gave me a half smile “Don’t be mad at me”.
“I’m not, thank you for telling me” he said putting his arm round me “You know what he’s done is rape” I nodded “I think I’ll just let Mom and Dad know they can get the M.P.’s involved”.
“That would be ideal apart from the fact your sister would hate you, and he could do the same for you” Ben looked at me. ‘From now till January whenever we sleep together it’s exactly the same thing, your 18 and I’m not”.
“I didn’t think of it like that” Ben sighed “I can’t believe my best friend would do that to me he knows what I’m like with her”
‘Yeah well I think it must be something in the air at the moment because I got in to a fight with Ollie last night”
“Ollie why it’s normally you and Nick fighting” Ben said.
“I went to ask him because he and Katie are good friend if he knew who it was she was dating, because I really did think it was going to be him hooking up with her” I said“But he told me he likes the older woman” Ben broke out into a grin.
“Don’t tell me he’s hooking up with someone’s Mom or something”.
“No not that old, but he is with Megan”.
“Lilly’s friend” Ben said in shock.
“Yeah I told him he was being disloyal and punched him a few times” I put my head on Bens’ shoulder “I’m glad we’re away from all that drama for a few days.
“Yeah don’t worry it’ll all kick off when we get home, Justin’s going to have to deal with me” Ben said shaking his head resigning himself to the fact that there wasn’t anything he could do while we were off the base, we landed and went through the gate I pointed to Danw who was standing to one side while Rylans was signing autographs for fans as they asked him Dawn waved with a huge grin across her face.
‘Rylan their here” she said he signed the hat off the guy that held it out for him before looking up.
“Gunny Bear” he yelled down the terminal Ben started to laugh as I groaned. Rylan held out his amrs I hugged him as Dane hugged Ben.
‘Happy Birthday and Welcome to Wisconsin” She smiled.
‘Thanks” Ben grinned as Rylan put me down I looked at Dawn.
“Hi sweetie” She smiled hugging me.
‘Thanks for letting us stay with you” I smiled as Rylan took my bag from me Dawn put her arm through mine as we walked out.
“So how’s your senior year going” She smiled.
“Good so far apart from Dad not being here again” I shrugged. “I’m hoping they’ll be home in time for my graduation”.
“Oh I suddenly feel old” Rylan groaned as we stopped by his big SUV “What happened to that tiny screaming bundle” He said kissing the top of my head.
“Oh Adam’s still on Parris island” I smirked making Dawn and Rylan burst out laughing.
“Come on it’s too cold to stand out here chatting” Dawn said looking at a shivering Ben .We drove away from the city till we got to a huge house with massive gates and a long drive that reminded me of my grandparents plantation house in Tennessee we went inside.
‘I’ll go make some hot chocolate while Rylan shows you two where you’ll be sleeping” Dawn smiled heading for the kitchen we followed Rylan up the stair to the left and down the hall to he pushedopen the door.
“There you go make your selves at home the fireplace works as well so come and grab some hot chocolate before you turn in for the night we’re snowmobiling up north tomorrow” he walked out and closed the door.
“O.M.G. this is incredible” Ben said picking me up and swinging me round “Let’s forget about the crap at home till we get back on the plane to go home and go have fun” he put me down we went down into the kitchen Dawn handed us both hot chocolate Ben was talking football to Rylan Dawn sat next to me.
‘So all good with Ben” she smiled. “I was a bit unsure after what happened with his Mom and Ry” I pulled a face. “It’s okay I know I can trust Rylan I mean I’m still with him after he threw up on me”.
“oh don’t that story grosses me out” I laughed. “Do you think you could come take pictures on the day he graduates boot camp”.
“I’ll be there don’t you worry I want to get the same sort of shot of you guys as I got of your Mom and Dad the Day Adam graduated” she said hugging me.
‘The roll on picture” I asked she nodded “You guys remind me so much of them”.
“I called your Mom, to let her know you were here safe” Rylan said sitting down.
‘Thank you”
“Were leaving at 6am, so you guys should go get to bed” Dawn said gettingup and putting her cup in the sink.
‘Okay night guys” I hugged then both Ben followed me back to our bedroom he closed the door flicking the lock I went over to the fire place and lit it he turned off the lights he came behind me slipping his arms round my waist.
‘So was the Victoria’s secret thing just a cover for this” he sighed resting his head on my shoulder.
“Oh no I went shopping there” I pulled off my top and turned to face him.
“Happy Birthday Baby” I put my arms round his neck and kissed him…………………………………………………………….
