March 15, 2008 6:50- Kairi-
I was forced to change into a brand new wedding dress that looked exactly the same as the one that was destroyed. I didn’t see any of my family anywhere. If I did I would strangle them. Why didn’t they warn me Daniel was going to kidnap me? Maybe they didn’t know. I sighed as I looked into the mirror I was forced to stand in front of. My silver hair was curled into ringlets. My violet eyes were lifeless and dull. Kataro had rejected me. He wasn’t going to save me. He hated me just because I am a stupid Vampire. Daniel’s mom walked into the room. I looked at my feet.
“It’s time for the ceremony to begin,” Daniel’s mother took me by the hand and led me through the halls. We reached the front of the ball room just as the wedding march was beginning. My flower girl opened the doors. Once again there were millions of guests but none of them were the wolves I had come to love. It was silly for me to believe they were still coming for me but I did. Kataro wouldn’t leave me like this. He just couldn’t.
I took a deep breath as I walked down the aisle toward Daniel. I couldn’t stand to look at him. The sight of him sickened me. It was his fault I was here again. Pastor Hiro once again was the preacher. He looked at me with a sad look in his eyes. He took a deep breath and began for the second time. “Dearly beloved we are gathered here again today to bind this man and this woman in holy matrimony. Let us begin in another word of prayer for this man and this woman. Dear Lord we pray for Kairi Robinson and Daniel Andrews. Be with them in all their preparations and on their wedding day. Give them your love in their hearts throughout their married life together, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” Everyone in the pew then said, “Amen.”
Then Pastor Hiro once again started preaching about true love. He put his worn brown leather bible on the podium. The same one he used the first time. He turned to a book marked page and began to speak “First Corinthians chapter thirteen verse four says Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and endurance. In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of them all is love.”
Pastor Hiro paused for a moment and then continued. “Love ladies and gentlemen is the reason we are supposed to be gathered here today for. These two people have a love for each other that will grow through out time.”
“I wish Kataro was here to save me,” I thought.
“I hope these two young folks live a long and happy life together. Now it is time for the vows.” Pastor Hiro said exactly like the first time around turned to look at Daniel continued speaking, “Mr. Daniel Andrews would you like to say your vows?”
“Don’t mind if I do.” Before I knew it, Daniel took my right hand into his. “I, Daniel Andrews , take you, Kairi Robinson ,to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow.” I looked at him blankly. He then slid a gold ring on my ring finger on my left hand. My engagement ring was no longer there.
Pastor Hiro then turned to me. “Kairi Robinson, would you like to say your vows?” I sighed.
“Yes, since I have no choice in the matter.” I sighed again. Daniel let go of my right hand. I took his right hand into my own and began, “I, Kairi Robinson, take you, Daniel Andrews, to be my husband, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death do us part, according to God’s holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow.” I took the gold ring that Pastor Hiro held out to me just like he did the first time. I hesitated then slide the ring on his finger. Pastor Hiro turned to face the guests of the wedding.
“If there is a soul in the audience who thinks this marriage should not be speak now or forever hold your peace,” I held my breath.
“Someone object please someone object,” I thought to myself. After a moment I sighed. The guests seemed to enjoy the idea of us being mar-.
“I object!”
