Chapter 10

-7:17 am

As Theresa and Tameka conversated,Theresa felt the urge to drink some coffee.She told her friend where she was going and walked to the cafeteria.As she approached the window to order her coffee,her phone rang.

Theresa:Hello?

Kris:Hey baby.

Theresa:Hey......Can I get a decaf?

Kris:Huh?

Theresa:Oh I was talkin to the waiter....So wassup?

Kris:Nothing I just was missin you.

Theresa:Baby.....why do I have a feeling you dont care about your sister?

Kris:I do care about my sister.What made you think that?

Theresa:You only talked to her once and everytime you call me you dont ask for her.

Kris:Baby im sorry if I dont seem caring but I do care.

Theresa:(sigh)Im sorry.Im just stressin.

Kris:I know boo.You gone be strait though.Trust me.

Theresa walked towards the chairs so she could sit down and talk to her man when she heard the intercom say: I need two O.R. surgeons and a Monitor in room 319.When Theresa heard that she ran so quickly to her room she left her coffee at the table.When she got to the room the doctors pushed her out and ordered her to go to the waiting room.As she sat down she called Kris.She mistakingly hung up on him running to Tameka.

Kris:Baby what happened?

Theresa:Kris.....I need you!!!!(crying)

Kris:Im on my way.

They hung up and Kris was their in less than 5 mintues.He walked in and looked for Theresa.He found her sitting with her head in her lap.As he sat down he put his arm around her shoulder.When she turned into his chest,he saw the tears.

Kris:Baby what happened?

Theresa:I dont know.I was drinkin my coffee and I heard them call all these doctors to her room and as I was goin to her room they made me come here.Baby im so scared...

Kris:Im scared too.But my sisters strong babe.You gotta trust me.

Theresa:I knew somethin would happen if I left her.I just knew it.

As she cried into Kris' chest,he spotted one of the shooters from earlier.

Kris:Baby.....does he look familiar?

Theresa:(wiping her eyes)Um.....yeah...thats Krazo.

Kris:Get up.....come with me.

Theresa:No....not out there.Im not leaving her if I aint got to.

Kris:Theresa!Where not leaving!

Theresa then walked out with Kris following the guy.They then followed him to a dark alley.

Theresa:(whispering)Im scared.....

Kris:Shh....

Rick:Dont tell me somebody scared........

Thats when Rick grabbed Theresa by her kneck and out of Kris' hands.They walked deeper into the dark alley where Kris couldnt see but dont think that stopped him.He followed closely behind.

Rick:I have something very valuable.Two things really.Your sisters life and your life.All I have to do is say a word and they gone.

Kris:No man....What I do to you?

Rick:You faught me twice....what im spossed to do?

Kris:Man let this be between us.

Rick:It is.You took somethin valuble from me...(kissing Theresas face)...Now im takin it back.

Thats when Rick backed into the dark alley.Then he disappeares into the nite with Theresa.Kris felt defeated. Hed fought all his life for things he wanted.Nowit was his time to get his possesion out of dangers arms.Thats how he seen her.As his "possesion".But as he thought of a plan, he got in his car and drove home.When he walked in he seen Ricks friends wrecking the place.He didnt pay it any mind.He walked up stairs into his room and then into his closet.He pulled his shoe box down with a 357 Magnum and bullets.He was planning on doing crazy things like killing family for Theresa.Really,because Kris' sister grew up knowing about her,he knew about her.He found himself attracted to her day by day.Waking up thinking about her being next to him and dreaming about her having his kids.She was his dream girl and he was waiting on the day for her to say she will take his name.
