As she layed in the bed next to Tameka, she couldnt push the thought of Ricks face away.He lied and betrayed her.But does she still love him?Tameka gets out the bed and puts on some jeans.Then she pulled out a black shirt and walked out.She just layed there wondering if she was going to be punished for wanting to belong so much.She thought back to when her mom told her she would hate to see her hurt like this and began crying.Meanwhile,Tameka was talking to her mom who was cooking breakfast.
Tameka:Mom im so sorry.
Karen:Baby...you coulda asked me to have company instead of sneaking them in.You know the rules I have. And if it woulda went my way,Theresa wouldnt be going through what shes going through now.
Tameka:Mom....im sorry.
Thats when Karen walked around the counter and hugged her.Tameka then heard Theresa crying.She walked into the room and found Theresa leaning against the wall crying really hard.Tameka rushed in to her side and comforted her.As she cried,her phone began to ring.It was Rick.

Tameka took the phone and answered it.
Tameka:Hello?
Rick:Aye man,lemme speak to my victim...
Tameka:Are you serious?
Rick:Look lemme talk to her or I will come over there.
Tameka:You wouldnt....
Rick:Watch me....
He hung up and Theresa looked at her in fear of what might happen.As Tamkea explained to Theresa about what she was about to do, she pulled out a pair of sweats and a black beater and gave her a pair of Js.As Theresa got dressed,she understood that she was to get in Karens car and drive to a McDonalds in Jortan City.While Theresa drove to the interstate,her phone rang.It was her friend.

Theresa:Hello?
Tameka:wassup?
Theresa:nuthin.wassup wit u?
Tameka:why u sound so happy?
Theresa:I dont know.im jes chillin.
Tameka:well...Rick aint no threat anymore so.....
Theresa:Im not worried about him anymore.
Tameka:Since when?
Theresa:Since I met your brother.
Tameka:Dont fall for it girl.Hes bad news.
Theresa:I like a little dare.
Tameka:Thats not a dare.Its a threat.
Theresa:Watever.Ima call u lata ma.I gotta talk to sumbody.
Tameka:Dont do it girl.....
As Tameka tries to warn her best friend about her own brother, Theresa hung up.She slid the phone into her purse and leans forward on the table.Kris was still there with the cute dimples that mocked his lite moustache.
Kris:So is all the trouble at ease?
Theresa:I think so.
Kris:Well McDonalds isnt really my date place.Would you care to join me on a walk through the park?
Theresa:Who said I was on a date with you?
Kris:I think I should ask instead huh?
Theresa:I dont know.Its on you.
Kris:Well since im feelin you...can I take you on a date?
Theresa:Well i'd like that.
Kris:Oh you mackin me now?
Thats when she blushed and laughed.Then his friends walked over to the table and interupted them.
Johntae:Aye yo man....wat u want?
Kris:it aint on da menu.
Kris grabbed Theresas hand and led her outside.She walked to her car and let him in.Then he gave her some directions to the North Side park.They get out and start walking around.
Kris:So wat u lookin for in a man?
Theresa:After today....im not really lookin for a guy.
Kris:well dont think of me as a guy.
Theresa:wat u mean?
Kris:Im a gentleman.Im not like other guys.
Theresa:Yeah I see that.
Kris:So wassup wit me and you?
Theresa:I really dont know.Im feelin you.....
Kris:So come here.
He pulls her over to him and kisses her.She leans in and as their soft lips touched, Theresa felt chills down her spine.He didnt want to come on to strong so he pulled away.Then he turned her around and walked behind her.
She looked up at him as he walked with her like conjoined twins.They then kept walking.

Theresa:Hello?
Angelique:Wats wrong girl?
Theresa:Nothin....jes tired....wassup?
Angelique:I was wonderin if u wanted to hit up dat club off Jones Blvd?
Theresa:Naw...im not in town right now....But as soon as I get back,I will call you so we can go out.
Angelique:Okay girl.You sure u okay?
Theresa:Yeah, im good.
Angelique:Alrite girl.
Theresa:Talk to you later.
Angelique:Bye,ma.
Theresa hung up the phone and drove about 2 more miles. She then approached the McDonalds and parked.She walked inside and sat in a booth.As she sat waiting on Tameka to call her, a handsome dread head walked into the fast-food restaurant.He first looked at her and stared till his home boy tapped his arm.They walked to the counter and she flipped through her phone.She came across a number she didnt know and called it.On the 4th ring, the dudes phone at the counter rang.Then he answered.
Kris:Hello?
Theresa:Who dis?
Kris:Dis Kris.Who dis?
Theresa:Reese..ya number was in my phone and.....
Thats when the handsome guy approached the booth.He hung up the phone as well as she did.
Kris:I knew i knew you from somewhere.You Tameka friend right?
Theresa:Depends on whos askin.
Kris:Im Kris.Her brother.
Theresa:Oh yeah.I remember you.You the one who fell off the roof.
Kris:Unfortunately...yeah.
Theresa:Dont worry.I wont tell ya friends.
Kris:So what brings you out here?
Theresa:Im actually waitin on ya sista to call me.
Kris:Shes bad at calling people.You might wanna call her if she comin out here.
Theresa:No,no.I just left her house.Somethin happened and she told me to come out here.
Kris:What happened?
Theresa:Nothing important.
Kris:Aww come on.I stayed there before remember?
Theresa:I still dont wanna talk about it.I dont need you ready to kill somebody.
Kris:Somebody put they hands on my sister?
Theresa:No,no....not her.
Kris:Somebody hurt you?
Theresa:Dont worry.Im fine now.
Kris:I hope.Cause im willin to go to jail for somebody as cute as you.
Theresa:You don't even know me.
Kris:Im willin to get to know you.
Theresa:Oh really?
Kris:Yeah.
Then there was a long break of silence that was interupted by Theresas phone ringing.
