Chapter 20
-12:32 p.m.
As Theresa sat on the grass near her moms tombstone she thought about what had happened.The guy she had once wanted to love her took her courage and self respect.But the guy who helped her open her eyes to reality just days later wanted things to go back to the beginning but its hard to turn the hands of time back when your in love with someone.She sat there for atleast an hour before she knew her phone was ringing.She answeres it only to find that its her dad.
Mike:Sweetie....are you okay?You havent been home in weeks.Whats.....
Theresa:Dad please dont talk rite now.Just listen.Im very upset and id like to be left alone.So can you please just wait for me to get in later tonite?Okay....love you.
She hung up and got in her car.She decided to go.She had no place to go but back to Kris' house to talk to him.She wanted things to be very clear between the two of them.As she knocked on the door,she noticed a Red Volvo sitting outside in his driveway.When he opened the door he seen a light-skinned girl.Theresa was confused but of course Kris was shocked to see her.
Kris:Baby....what are you doing here?
Theresa:I came to talk but I guess......
Angelique:Theresa...rite?
Theresa:Angelique?
Angelique:Yep....
Theresa:Its funny how you forgot your best friends name.But I guess hoes do that huh?Yall can have eachother.
Angelique:I was leaving.....
Theresa:I knew you were gone do somethin to me like this...I'll leave.You can stay.
Thats when Theresa thought she had made the biggest mistake of her life.She had thought that she loved Kris but it was all a game.She wanted time to go back to where she would have known more about Rick.She wanted to be that special girl in somebodys life but instead,she layed down with danger and gave up her self-respect.
