Chapter 1
I drove home, tapping my fingers on the steering wheel as I listened to the radio. The sun glittered off my diamond engagement ring that my boyfriend, or more like Fiancee now, Alex, got me.
I pulled up at home and grabbed the groceries and walked inside. I recongized an unfamiliar car in the parking lot, then again a new person probably is moving in. I saw a girl climb into her car wearing her shirt inside out, I really don't want to know. She climbed in her car and drove away, must be visiting one of the men here.
I whistled as I walked up the steps and I dropped my keys on the floor. I went to get it, but then my bag started ot fall so now I have to try and juggle my bags and try and get my keys.
A hand picked up my keys and some guy handed it to me, I didn't really look at who it was. " These yours?" he asked and his voice was glorious.
" Yes, "he handed me my key and when I turned around to Thank him and find out who he was, he was gone. I frowned and unlocked the door, I set the groceries on the counter and started to put them away. I heard the shower on and I walked into my room. The bed was a mess and Alex's clothes were all over the floor, then again he probably just woke up, I mean he'll sleep all day unless I get him up and of course he was probably looking for his missing keys.
I walked out of my room and into the living room, I hung up my jacket and grabbed a cup of tea, sure I hated it, but it helps with sore throats. I took a sip as arms slipped around my waist and lips landed on my shoulder, I shivered.
" Hey babe." Alex said as I spun around. He kissed me on the lips and pulled me to him. It was intense and when I pulled away his eyes were full of lust.
" Hey." I said, breathless from the kiss.
" Wanna come back to bed?"he said, he had a smirk on his face and he wiggled his eyebrows.
" You can't even wait for our wedding night?" I laughed and he gave me the puppy dog eyes. I sighed and kissed him on the lips, he pulled me closer and deepened the kiss, and then the phone rang.
He groaned and pulled away. " I'll meet you in bed." he laughed as I grabbed the phone.
" Hey Jackie, what's up?" I asked, leaning on the counter.
Jackie- Hey! I just landed, I'm staying at mom's today, but I'll be there tomorrow for some positive news
Me- Your getting married too?! Aren't you sis?
Jackie- I'll tell you the news tomorrow!
Me- Okay, well I'll let you go now, see you tomorrow.
Jackie- Okay bye sis.
I hung up the phone and walked into my room. Alex was laying in bed and I grinned when I saw him. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to him. He pushed his body against mine and kissed my lips. He started to kiss my neck and pulled me down to him................
................" Jennette, where'd Alex go?" my sister, Jackie asked. She's 18 and just started on college, and she goes to college to LCUA.
" Work."I said.
" On a Saturday?" she giggled, she was raised ot think Saturday was the day off, no matter what.
" No matter what Mom told you Saturdays are not always a break." I said and she threw a pillow at me. I threw it back at her and she ducked, so it flew into my room.
" Ooh, do you have any Diet Coke?" she said, and I could hear her going through our fridge.
" You know we never have diet!" I shouted back, I walked into my room and looked around.Alex can never make the bed, I left for work at seven in the morning and he left around ten in the morning, so he must have slept in. His clothes were on the floor and the room was a diaster. I started to clean up when I spotted something black, I went to grab it......
Ring Ring Ring
I jumped and ran into the living room, where Jackie was talking to someone on the phone. " No here she is. Yes, okay, here she is." Jackie handed me the phone and mouthed Alex.
" Diets in the fridge, bottom drawer." I called out to her as I sat down in the living room, I heard her mumble a thanks.
Me-Hello?
Alex- Hey babe!
Me- Heya! What you up to hon?
Alex- I justed wanted to say I'm going to be late today.
Me- Again? Why does your boss keep holding you back?
Alex- She *pant* must *pant* not like *pant* me
Me- Alex are you okay? You sound like you've been running.
Alex- sorry, I had to run and grab coffee for me and Dave.
Me- Okay, I'll see you tonight then, Love you.
Alex- Okay Love you too, bye
Hmm he hung up in a hurry.
" So, what's going on?" Jackie asked, walking in with carrots and Diet Coke.
" Alex is working late tonight. So it's just me and you. We can watch The Notebook orDear John and pig out on Ice Cream?" I asked her and she frowned at me.
" You know I can't resist and you know I'm on a diet! how horrible are you!" she laughed and nodded. I got up and grabbed chocolate ice cream and two spoons while Jackie turned on The Notebook.
We sat there eating ice cream, crying at certain parts, and then when we were done we got bored and turned on Dear John. We cried alot during that one and not even half way threw it Jackie passed out on my shoulder.
I carried dragged her to the guest room and put her on the bed, she woke up for a moment and then tucked herself in and was out in about two minutes.
I walked into my room and yawned. I climbed into bed and fell asleep within a matter of minutes.
