Chapter 18

It was all a blur to be exact. We walked into the place, I didn't really pay attention to what it was called but alot of people were in uniforms here. Marines, Air-Forces, Army, Navy, Police, F.B.I, C.I.A, and more.

"So you don't think it's some prank, that this is a serious threat?" I asked Cameron and he looked at for a moment.

"We can't take any chances." he said.

"I get the police and maybe the F.B.I, but what's with everyone else?" Iasked, looking around.

"We believe that whoever has been terrorizing your family is the main reason for similar deaths throughout the country." someone said and we both looked around at a person.

It was a girl, she had short black hair and deep blue eyes. Her expression was sour and she looked happy to see.

"My apology, I'm Cystal Martins, head detective here." she said. " I understand what your going through, but since this is very serious there isn't any time for pity."

"Good, I'm not looking for pity." I almost spat.

She smiled at me. "Good, because I'm not looking for pity either." she said and I noticed the right side of her face, where there was a long scar across her cheek. It went from the middle of her forehead and moved across the right side of her cheek and reached the corner of her lips.

I liked her already.

"Now so we have clues as to where they might be?" she asked, taking the notes from Cameron and handing them to someone near by. "Brush for finger tips and make sure your careful not to do anything that may damage them."...................

..............Over the next couple hours, I sat in the room. Sometimes pacing, sometimes sharing stories with Crystal, sometimes tapping my foot on the floor in rhythm with the clock as it ticked.

Shock came when they told me who had their finger tips on both pieces of paper.

"Well there are three different people: a Clover Ash, a Mr.Simons, and you." Crystal said, looking over the list.

"Mr.Simons? My teacher?" I asked, frowning.

"He's your teacher?" Crystal said, her eyes widening.

"Yes."

"What about Ms.Clover?" she asked, flipping through the papers.

"Couldn't have been, Clover. She doesn't know anything about what happened. Even if she did have her finger prints on the paper, I doubt she would have anything to do with who wrote them. She goes through my bag all the time and she might have picked it up at their graves."I replied. Although Iwasn't to sure, I mean I really didn't know anything about my suppose able best friend. Other than the fact that she was an orphan and lived by herself like a nomad.

Crystal pulled out a computer and started looking things up on the computer about him and Clover. "There's no information on any of them!" she said, frowning.

I frowned again and took the computer from her, my fingers glided over it as I looked everything over.

"It's him." Isaid, my eyes widening. I noticed the guy with blonde hair from a long time ago and as I thought if over I realized something. Mr.Simons had sounded and looked very familiar.

"Who's him?" Daniel, Crystal's older brother, asked. He had black hair like Crystal, except he had green eyes. He was very good looking, but compared to Cameron, he wasn't as good looking.

"Him, that's Mr.Simons, but apparently his name is Jason Donovan. This guy, he was the one from the fire." I said, pointing each of them out as Crystal took the computer and started looking everything up...............................
