I woke up with a head, was is it with me and walking up with headaches, I mean seriously I don't have to deal with this. I tried to get up, only for my wrists to burn as I tried to wiggle my way out of the ropes that were burning me.
"Stop wiggling." her voice said, echoing off the dark walls around me. Who this person was hit me in the face like a ton of bricks, I couldn't believe I had even let myself think she was my friend, I knew she was evil.
"Clover." I glared at her as she laughed, licking her ruby red lips.
"Yes, didn't see that coming now did ya?" she said, her hands on her hips as she pouted at me with a fierce glare.
"No I didn't, how are you even involved?" I asked, glaring right back at her.
"Remember how I told you I didn't like my last name so I didn't use it, well truth be told I do like my last name, but it would have spoiled everything if you knew what it really was this far into the game." she smirked. "I, Clover Ash Donovan, am part of the reason why your family and adopted ones and whatever, have been killed."
That's why Mr.Donovan had been sounding like this was some joke, because it was. They wanted everyone to leave so they could get to me without being caught.
"Their going to know it was a trap and start looking for me." I murmured.
She frowned a moment, before speaking. "Yes...Well we have thoughts of that....We'll be long gone by the time that happens. The game could end right now with no more pain, if you just tell me where the file is."
"There is no way in hell I'm telling you the file is in the top drawer of the headmaster's desk back at headquartars." I lied, and then frowned for the act. "Damn."
"Well...It seems we'll have to make a U-turn." the driver said, frowning. I realized it was the blonde guy from the fire. He must have felt my gaze on him because he turned and smiled at me evily like he just won something.
"No! She's lying, I know it." Clover hissed and then she turned to me. "Where is it?"
"I don't know! It burned a long time ago in the fire or it could have been stolen!" I hissed, going for plan B. What's plan B? Think, Think, I don't know!
Clover paced back and forth for a while as the car pulled to a stop. I couldn't see where I was it was so dark outside, the only thing I could see was trees from the moonlight.
I got it!
"It's at the school okay?" I said suddenly, making them both jump. "Inside my desk in the vanilla colored file."
"Are you lying?" she asked, frowning.
"No." I murmured, staring her in the eye just long enough for her to believe me.
"Head to the school and drive fast, we don't have much time." Clover snapped and the car lurched forward before making a U-turn...................
................The blonde guy who I just nicknamed Blondie was holding me as we walked, the gun in his pocket pushed up against my side but hidden from plain sight, if anyone saw us, we would look like a couple since I was no longer tied up.
"Dad." Clover said, smiling at her father as he walked in the room.
"Ah, now she says it's here?" Jason said and she nodded, he looked at me a moment. A look of disgust flashed over his face as he looked me over for a moment, he kept looking at me like I was something to eat instead of a human person he would have to kill and his gaze lingered a little too long on places they shouldn't have even been looking at in the first place.
"There." I muttered, pointing in which classroom and desk, they pulled it open and started digging through as I hoped that the plea for help I had sent with my iPod would get to them before I was killed.
"It's not in here." Clover hissed, slamming the lid down. They all turned to look at me as I smiled weakly, I guess no help is going to come to me. Mr.Donovan struck me, quick and fast across the face as I fell over. He hits hard for a teacher, but he's like some sort of agent working for the bad people.
There was a flash of light and then screaming and yelling erupted out of no where. Clover was screaming and her dad was yelling as they heard the footsteps running down the hallway and the glass shattering near by.
There was smoke coming from somewhere just then and I realized one of the trees outside had been hit with the lightening causing a fire. Thank you whoever the hell did that.
I couldn't help but almost cry as a butterfly flew in from the broken window and landed on one of the desks for a moment before flying away quickly. I went down on my hands and knees, trying to keep the smoke from killing me if the fire didn't.
"Grab her and lets get the hell out of here while their to caught up with the storm!" Jason yelled at Blondie, who made a dive for me as I jumped to my feet and ran through the smoke blindly. I pulled open the classroom door and walked out, running down the hallways where the smoke was even harder to see through.
Someone grabbed me. "Stop moving." Mr.Donovan hissed in my ear as he pulled me down the hallway.
"Freeze!" somebody called out.
"Dammit, time to go to plan C." Jason cursed and pushed me at whoever had said for him to freeze, I tumbled into the person I didn't know as like three of us fell over. I rolled off the guy and glanced at Jason's retreating figure.
They were moaning on the floor and I would have frowned because they made me seem like I was heavy, except I didn't have time. I grabbed the gun the guy had been holding that was now on the floor, and pointed it at one of Jason's retreating feet, firing and I frowned as it hit him in his back.
I have such bad aim, I thought right before everything went black......................
