"Ummm Nick....Should I be this nervous?" I was so scared, I knew I was pale. This is wha happens when I get nervous, first I get pale and then I feel like I'm going to vomit.

"No you shoudn't, it's going to be fine, you trust me right?"

"Of course!"

"So you should know that I wouldn't introduce you to them if I knew they would hate you."

"Ok,then let's get going." I tried to puta smile on my face but I imagined it only came out as a grimance. Which pf course only cause Nick to laugh at me. As we walked through the grass I knew this lunch was going to be...interesting, to say the least.

*******

"Hey Nicky where ya been mate?" This guys Australin accent was very clear when he talked. As I looked around the table I (surprisingly) only saw three guys. I thought there would be more, considering Nick was 'Mr.Popular'. They guys with the the Australin accent was tan with brownish-blackish hair an green eyes. They guy sitting next to him was between pale and tan. He had light brown hair with very blue eyes. I guess my surprise was clear, about his eyes because he was quietly chuckling at me. The last guy was very pale with almost silver hair! He had dark brown eyes.

"Sorry guys,I was just sitting by theold oak. Guys this is my amazing girlfiend Liz."

"Nick! Stop it!" He knew what I meant because I could feel my cheeks getting very warm all of a sudden.

"So this is you've been talking non-stop about!" The guy with the light brown hair said. I noticed that the guy with the silver hair didn't talk much.

"Guilty. Liz these are my...strange buds, that's Dan, the guy from Australia, as you can tell. The guy with the blue eyes is--"

"George!" George interuppted. I could tell he had a loud personality. Nick rolled his eyes before continuing.

"Lastly, the quiet one is Luke."

"Umm, nice to meet you all...I think." I added the last part carefully.

"Nice to meet you to." Luke said and then scurried off. could tell my face looked hurt because Nick quickly comforted me.

"It's ok, he's just really shy around new people. It actually took him about a year to warm up to me."

"Are you sure? Maybe I did something wrong..." I went over the conversation in my head and tried to think of something I did wrong.

"Don't you worry 'bout it darlin, he's like that with strangers." Dan said cheerfully.

"You know you guys all have different different persoalities but yet you guys are still friends. I mean Nick is sweet, Dan is maybe a little bit too cheerful, George is really loud, and Luke is really shy. How are you guys still friends?"

"Haven't you ever heard of the saying 'opposites attract'?" George asked.

"Well yes, but I never thought it applied to friends, just boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Well if what you thought was true then maybe we wouldn't be together." Nick said as he butterfly kissed my head.

"Oh I guess your right......" I still couldn't help abou feeling guilty about Luke though. I just had a nagging feeling about it. "Umm Nick do you think we could---"

"Go and find Luke?" He interupppted knowingly, "Sure why not, we only have time to spare after all. Do you guys know where he might have gone?" He asked turning to Dan and George.

"Hmm well he does like art, and he does draw a lot, maybe the art room?" Dan suggested.

"I think so. Awesome idea Dan!" George said loudly, of course.

"Alright should we go Liz?" My mood had just brightened.

"Let's go!"

"Alrigty then let's go!" He said kissing my on the lips leaving Dan and George yelling "PDA!!!" After us.
