A/N: Sorry it has been such a long time since i updated, but I just got off spring break and I didn't want to use my Nana's computer, adn this week I had to go back to school and I had to do a science project. But anyways i'm kinda rambling, and I would just like to say thank you to my readers and please comment and tell your friends. Enjoy this chapter!!
When I woke up I knew what I decided, I was going to go home tomorrow (Sunday) and see if my mom was doing....better, I didn’t even know if that was the right word. When I opened my eyes and turned around I didn’t see Nick anywhere with me. He must be downstairs I decided. Rolling out of bed, I figured out I had a little morning dizziness. Soon I managed to stumble my way down the stairs and into the kitchen. I stopped at the doorway, and realized that the voices were Nick and his mom.
“How did you meet Liz, Nick?”
“I met her at school....But it was funny I saw some kind of deep sadness in her eyes.”
“Was this before or after her mom started.....beating her?”
“Before.”
“Well then I don’t really know what to say. I would suggest asking her Nick.” It was then that I thought about Ashley and my dad, stumbling up the stairs I ran to Nick’s room and sobbed into the pillow while my tears fell down my face and onto the pillow. I didn’t hear Nick come in so when he sat down beside me and put his hand on my shoulder I flinched away from him.
“I’m sorry Liz; I thought you were still asleep.” As soon as I heard his voice I sat up and hugged him almost immediately. While I sobbed into his shirt he muttered comforting words into my ear.
“Do you want to tell me?” Asked Nick as soon as my tears and sobbing stopped.
“You won’t tell anyone?”
“I won if that’s what you want....I promise.” So then I told him about Ashley and her tragic death. This time I cried after the story was done. After I was done he just looked at me, speechless, and then pulled me into his chest.

After I finished telling Nick the story about Ashley we went down to the kitchen for lunch. Even though Nick tried to cheer me up countless time, I knew I wouldn’t be happy for the rest of the afternoon.
“Come on I have something to show you,” Nick said around two o’clock.
“Is this one of your tricks to cheer me up?” I asked kind of grumpy.
“Yes,” he said cheerily “and I’m sure it’s going to work.” Without another word I let him lead me to his backyard. Of course knowing Nick he made ma close his eyes until he led me outside. When we finally got outside he let me open my eyes and sitting there on his lawn I saw A TRAMPOLINE!!!
“Oh my god!!” I yelled at Nick. “You’ve been keeping a trampoline for me?” Without another word I crawled on to the Tramp and started to do front flips and back flips. Soon after watching me, Nick joined me on the Tramp.
After about an hour of doing tricks I was finally exhausted and lay down on the Tramp, seeing me Nick decided to join me.
“So I’m thinking that cheered you up.”
“Yes so much, thank you.”
“Hold up I’m not giving it to you.”
“In that case I’m coming over every day.”
“That would be awesome babe.” I looked at him, realizing he just called me babe. I cuddled up to his chest and reached up to his ear.
“Thank you” I whispered in his ear, as a response he gave me a kiss on my forehead.
“Nick!” I heard a deep voice call.
“You ready to meet my dad?” Nick pulled back and asked me
“I guess so.” With that we hopped off the trampoline holding hands, we figured Nick’s dad will already know that we are boyfriend and girlfriend from Nick’s mom. So I went to meet Nick’s dad and tell Nick’s family my decision about whether or not to see my mom again.
