It was a typical day for me; you know the whole brush your teeth, get ready for school day. Oh sorry, I didn't properly introduce myself. My name is Elizabeth Anderson- Lizzie for short. I go to R.H.S; The Radcliff High school. I'm still a freshman. Which totally sucks because freshmen are at the bottom of the food chain? We are open targets to those who wish to attack. I wouldn't be able to go through it if it wasn't for Donna Lilith and Jake Commings. Not one best friend, two! They always have my back.

          Like this one time at my birthday party, I accidentally broke my moms' favorite lamp. She had gotten it from my grandmother before she had passed away two years ago. Anyway, my mom comes and starts asking me what happened. Donna watched my mom yelling at me so she came up to us and says that it was all her fault because she bumped into me and I had bumped into the lamp. That really didn't happen, but I mean it was only a white lie, right?

          Donna and I have been friends ever since, and then we met Jake. He's friends with the most popular junior in school. Mike Lander. Well, fine I have a crush on Mike. So does Donna, but who can blame us. He has these blue eyes that if you look into them, you'd just want to drown in them right on the spot. He has that kind of power over all the freshman girls in the school. His brown wavy hair is just gorgeous. Every girl wants to brush their fingers through it. But, he's already taken by Brittany Summers.

          Let me tell you something about Brittany Summers. She is the most popular freshman girl in school. She's every girl's worst enemy. Not only because she's mean and popular, but because she's Mike Landers girlfriend. I know right, it's so unfair, I mean I know I don't have a chance with him but cant a girl still dream? Jake keeps telling me that Jake isn't my type. How does he know what kind of guys I'm interested in?

          Brittany Summers is my worst enemy. Do you know why she's my worst enemy? She ruined my only chance with Mike. Do you want to know how? Before Brittany was mean and self centered; she used to talk to us freshmen. She even came and sat down with me at the breakfast table. Well, at the breakfast table, she told me that Mike wanted to ask me something. So I took a breath mint and walked over to him. So I stand there looking at him. One of his friends pointed and laughed. I continued to stand there.

          So he turns around, I look into those gorgeous eyes and he looks into mine. I thought this was going to be "our moment" but instead he turns to me and says "You got some spinach in your teeth." Then him and his friends got up and left me looking like a freak. Yup that's right; I was a 5'2 freshman freak! Typical right? Well I wouldn't blame him.

          I have brown hair with blonde highlights. Wait; let me rephrase that, four streaks of blonde. My mom said it was too much money to get it done in a salon. So, like the loser I am, I bought blonde dye and I did some strands of my hair. But there was not enough dye, so I was stuck with four streaks of blonde. It looked so awful. Donna thought it was hot but I think its, let me put it this way, NOT! Jake on the other hand loved it, he said it shows the real me. What's he talking about?

          I have hazel eyes and they glow in the dark! I swear I'm not joking. Once I was having a sleepover and it was time to sleep. Donna said that my eyes were glowing. Of course I freaked out. Not that I'm not enough of a weirdo, but now I have weirdo eyes to match. I thought I was turning into a cat. I mean what would you do if you heard your eyes glow in the dark? I think you'd do the same.

          Well, my weight is okay. I'm like normal. You may think I starve myself, but I don't. All I do is eat. If it can be eaten, it's in my mouth. When my friends come over, all we do is eat. I once finished four jars of ice cream. What is a girl supposed to do on those lonely Friday nights?

          Donna is the next person I have to describe to you. She is very beautiful. She has straight blonde hair and the most sparkly blue eyes ever. She's always getting compliments from the guys. At lunch, guys are always around her. I'm surprised why Mike Landers didn't ask her out yet. She's not too fat or not too skinny. She's well... perfect.

          Jake Commings is well, just plain old Jake. You know the guy who reminds you that the book report is due tomorrow or the guy you remind that you like Mike Landers every minute of every day just to annoy him? Well that's Jake. He has green eyes and dirty blonde hair.

          To tell you the truth, there was a time in my life that I thought that Jake was, well, cute, but that was a long time ago, that was before I found out how annoying he is. I've never told anybody that I used to like him, not even Donna because she would tell him. Donna has a problem with keeping her mouth shut, when she hears a secret; it's not a secret for long. Everybody finds out, so yeah. I don't have a crush on him anymore; he's just a friend to me. A best friend! I just had to clarify that before I went on.

          There are two people that I absolutely despise in my life. One is Brittany Summers, I already explained why. Second would be Cindy Parks. Cindy Parks is Jakes girlfriend. Don't be getting the idea that I despise her because she's going out with him and I like him and all. It's nothing like that; I already said I don't like him. I just had to make that part clear to you.

          How do I describe Cindy? Well first of all, she has straight black hair. Her hair is naturally straight, unlike me, who has to wake up every morning to straighten it for and hour. She's taller than me by two inches, which totally bugs me because when she's talking to me, she has to look down at me as if I was a little kid. When you first meet her, you think she's all nice and sweet. But really, she's playing an act in front of Jake. Her eyes have a look of innocence, but past all that innocence is pure evil!

          Ok, I'm not being dramatic. It's true, so don't think I'm crazy. She's always acting all nice and sweet in front of Jake when I am around. For some reason, I think she's trying to get me jealous, which I'm not. This pisses me off because she keeps trying to make me jealous. I just want to tell her to stop, but I can't. Donna told me not to, so I'm taking Donna's word. She says I'm hallucinating and that I have to respect Jakes girlfriend.

          If I should respect her, she should respect me! Oh and get this, when I invite Jake to the movies with me and Donna, he doesn't come by himself, he brings Cindy along. I never said "Do you and Cindy want to go to the movies with Donna?" I only said Jake alone! But he brings her along anyway. I guess he feels bad because when I asked him, she was there too.

          Okay, so she's his girlfriend and all but does she have to tag along everywhere he goes. She's always with him, and when I mean always, I mean always with him.

          The number one reason why I hate Cindy is because I caught her cheating on Jake! Yes! I swear! I was walking to the deli next to my house, and I see her lip locking with a guy, and that guy wasn't Jake. I've told him several times, but he won't believe me. He says she would never do something like that to him. Donna didn't believe me either. She said she does, but I could tell she didn't. So, I've promised myself to find proof, to prove to them that she did, and hopefully I will. I can't stand him dating someone who is sneaking behind his back. That tramp!

          This is where my story begins. I was getting ready for school, when I heard the doorbell ring. Every morning, Jake comes by my house and Donna's, and we walk together to school. As I opened the door, I prayed to God that Cindy wasn't with him, but I guess my prayer wasn't answered because she was standing right next to him. "Oh, hey Jake." I said. "Hi Cindy," I said forcefully. "Are you ready to go?" Jake asked me. "Yeah, hold on let me grab my book bag." I said, before I went to get my book bag, I could have sworn Cindy gave me an evil smile.
