~ Back In SSU
3 days has passed and tomorrow is Friday. Meaning, my mother is going to force me to go to the airport and fly to SSU for the stupid Vega family party. I’ve also been contemplating on whether to break up with Dave or not. Lily said that it would be better if I did break up with him. I silently agreed on that. I mean, it’s not like I love him. Plus, I miss being single.
And now here I am telling walking out of French class and going to lunch. Readying myself for my epic break up speech. I spotted Dave and Josh with a couple of guys from the football team, along with the guy I made out with during Dave’s party; I found out his name is Baron. I tried to do the little flirty bitch and winked at him and he sent me a grin in return.
“Hey, baby!” Dave said cheerfully. He didn’t seem to notice our little innuendo.
“Hey… Can I talk to you?” I asked with a smile on my face.
I pulled him out of his group and into the back of the cafeteria. He seemed to be getting the wrong message because his eyes lit up with lust and he slowly backed me against the wall. I internally groaned when he started planting kisses on my neck. Of course, I immediately moaned and forced him into a lip-lock.
A minute passed until I suddenly realized that I was supposed to be breaking up with this jock. I shoved his chest until he stumbled back and stared at me with a raised eyebrow. I furiously shook my head and ran my fingers through my hair in irritation. Blame it all on the hormones! After all, I am a hormonal teenage girl.
“No. Stay right there, Dave.” He raised a brow and did a shrug before casually leaning against the wall. “I’m going to make this clear.” I took a step forward and gave him an emotionless face. “We’re over. Crystal clear. No questions. Might as well finish this right?” I shrugged and gave him a fake smile. “See you around Dave.”
He seemed to be unfazed by my little speech. But when I passed him, he grabbed my forearm and said in a curious tone, “We can still hook up right?”
I rolled my eyes at his utter stupidity, patted his cheek and gave him the fake smile I love to give to people before turning around and walking away.

“Wait. You’re coming with me?” I stated; disbelief very visible to my voice.
I was inside my room, getting ready for the flight to SSU—a private boarding school for girls and boys somewhere in the middle of nowhere. I perfectly planned everything. Firstly, I’d go to the ‘suite’ or whatever that the University provides for the V.I.P guests. Second, I’ll probably just sleep everything off or get ready or something then wait until six in the evening for the ride to arrive. Third, go mingle for a while, show myself to the IMPORTANT people then ditch. Simple as that. But that plan will be ruined if she goes with me.
I stared at my cousin, Iliana Pierce. Like me, she’s beautiful. With the stunning green eyes that looks emotionless and cold—sometimes lifeless—to her slim built that makes her look like a model to her flowing blonde hair—yes she’s a blonde too, I guess it runs in the family. She’s 18 years old which means she’s a year older than me and that she’s a senior in high school.
“Are you really asking me that question?” Her face is a face of a blank expressionless lifeless mask—Dull. Like gray. I raised a brow and placed a hand on my hip. “If you must know, I happen to be a student of SSU. And I’m a well respected prefect. So please dress appropriately. I simply cannot have my cousin embarrassing me and putting my reputation at a high risk.”
“And what’s that reputation if I might ask?” I hoped for my answer to be a challenge but she simply answered it without a second of hesitation.
“A strictly business only kind of person who does not enjoy, does not crack a smile, and most certainly does not tolerate any immature acts—unless of course if the principal asks me too.”
Huh, I guess bitchiness runs in the family too. I stared at her with bored eyes before turning around and proceeded to packing. After a few minutes of contemplating on whether to bring wedges or stilettos or heels or pumps, I decided to take one pair of each—except the stilettos and wedges, those are 2 to 3 pairs. I was in the midst of throwing the shoes inside my suitcase when Iliana entered my room with an irritated face.
“Look. We need to leave now or else we’ll miss our—what are those?” She pointed disapprovingly at my collection of heels, pumps, wedges and stilettos. “Those are not going to work. You do realize that heels are not allowed in SSU? You can wear wedges but not—not ever heels. You can wear 2-3 inches—but never 4-6 inches. Got that?”
I raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow and brushed the side fringe out of my eyes, “Do I look like I care?” She looked fairly shocked by my words. “Oh don’t act all surprised. You know how I am. Besides, I’m not even a student. So why bother?”
“Just go down will you? Victor’s already here.” And without another word, she walked out of my room.
I rolled my eyes dramatically at my cousin and zipped up my suitcase. With one last look at myself at the mirror, I grinned at my outfit and strutted out the door with my suitcase and purse in hand.

The whole flight was pretty boring. Iliana rarely talked, she’s got her face practically glued to the book she was reading. I’m finding hard to understand what could possibly be interesting in a book called The Forbidden Game. Plus, it was really thick, who would want to read that?
“Ms. Pierce!” A tall woman probably in her lat twenties called out to me and instructed the tall built guys to carry my luggage. She also told them to carry Iliana’s duffel bag but she ‘politely’ declined. The woman walked beside me and handed me my key.
“That would be the key to your room. Ms. Yana can show you to the room. Oh, how rude of me, I’m Casey Lay. The Prefect Council’s Secretary to be exact.” I just nodded in return.
She yapped about how honored they were to have another Pierce come and celebrate their before the school thing or something. So yes, my family is pretty well known. What can I say? My mother’s a pretty great home designer. She designed half of SSU and my dad did all the architectural work.
And finally, Ms. Casey Lay stopped talking and pointed to the black Mercedes waiting for us outside the airport. We went inside the cars and took off.

I’ve only been to SSU (or mostly known as Summit Stan University) 5 times in my entire life. First was when I was only five. Second, third, and fourth, was when I was only eight. And the last time I was here, I was 15. And in the time of two years, a lot has changed. The estate was a whole lot bigger and the drive from the main gates of the school to the main building which was in front of the front garden which was also the school itself took 3 minutes. The driveway towards it was lined with oak trees that stand a couple of meters away from each other.
“Amazing isn’t it?” I heard Iliana murmur beside me.
“Hmm…” Was my only reply.
We turned to the left before we even got to the front of the school building. I can only say one word that described this University pretty well. And that word is, BEAUTIFUL. The campus was clean. Not a single stray of gum wrapper or crumpled paper anywhere. No even a single fallen tree leaf. The car stopped in front of a gorgeous styled building. The building was made up of red bricks and it towered over us all.
“What building is this?” I asked and pulled out my iPhone.
Iliana moved beside me and gave me a pointed look and said, “The guest building.” She didn’t wait for my reply she just walked away and into the double doors.

Hi! So I just wanted to clear things out, SSU or Summit Stan University is COMPLETELY a figment of my imagination. Alright? If there’s ever a school named like this, well, I assure you, this one is completely different and I’m not planning on stealing the name of that school.
Anyways, I’ll try to post again tomorrow, seeing as the only thing I’ll be doing is catching up on the updates. :] Hoped you enjoy reading! >:D<
New character pictures are up. See Iliana’s face. :D
