Morgan was mad. Infuriated! After she shut the door she glared at me. It scared me. Her white hair didn't do much to help. She towered over me like a supernatural villain who knew there was nothing that was going to stop them.
She pinched my chin and made me look her in the eye. The fire in her gray-green pigmented eyes, threatened me, but her red lips frowned, as if she were sad. I closed my eyes, afraid.
"Look at me, Vera!" Although scared, I complied. Her voice wasn't as threatening as I thought it would be.
She jerked my head adjusting herself, so she made sure she made herself clear.
"Did I not tell you to stay away from him?" she dug her polished nails into my chin gently.
I nodded.
Bruce has been trying to get up my skirt since the first time he ever layed his eyes on me. He constantly tried to win me over. Flirts, pick up lines, and etc... They are oblivious to me. I don't get them when they are said. The person literally has to tell me they're flirting or I'll just innocently think they're being respectfully friendly. I didn't know about Bruce until Morgan told me to stay away from him months ago. So in a way, I've been leading Bruce on this whole time. And Morgan has always told me, shaking a finger at me, that my innocence at thought is going to get me in trouble. Like just now....
"Vera. I'm gonna' tell you one last time. Stay away from that piece of terd! Get it?" she burned a whole through me, I swear.
"Got it!?" she shook my head.
I tried saying yes, but my mouth went completely dry. So, I just nodded.
"Good!" She released my chin roughly making my head bobble and threw her bag on the white Victorian couch. I stayed where she left me as she stormed off into her room.
I shifted my glance to her door. I felt bad. It always hurt me to see someone mad at me, especially Morgan. It killed me.
I dropped what I held to the floor and walked over to her teal door. That was our house*slash*apartment. White, blue, and floral all around. The living room was a light blue with white furniture. The kitchen was white with floral dishware and teal silverware. Our rooms had floral wallpaper and matching teal floral comforters. We had wood flooring throughout the house.
I hesitated as soon as my fisted wrist reached out to the door, ready for a flick of the wrist. I knocked.
"Morgan...." I knocked again. The door opened showing Morgan. Her face was puffed like if she were about to burst into gushing waterfall.
I bowed my head down instantly.
She pouted. "I'm sorry, Vera. Don't blame me for worrying about you." She smiled and pulled me into her embrace. My face relaxed on her chest.
"Wanna' help me pick out an outfit for Mason's party?" she whispered into my hair.
I pulled away from her gentle hug and smiled. She moved to the side and let me in.
The party is next. I promise!
Lol.... I know I'm going slow,
but again this is my first time
writing.. Bear with me, readers.
