“Hey City Girl over here.” I looked over and seen it was the new Sherpa. I couldn’t remember her name. I watched as she walked over to Conner. “Oliza what are you staring at?” Ryu walked over and put his arm around my shoulder. I shook my head. “Okay, listen up.” Conner yelled to the campers and to all of the Sherpas. I didn’t listen to him because well it’s the same rules for every trip. Then Conner called out “Let’s go everyone.” I felt sorry for the new girl because well she had to walk with the high mighty Conner. As we walked into the forest, Sky came over to me and asked “Who is the new girl walking with Conner?” “I don’t know, I think her name is Rain or something.” I answered.
“Hey Conner, we should stop and rest.” Ryu yelled. Conner looked back at the campers and said “Okay we take fifteen. Be sure to be hydrated.” After that he walked off. I walked over to the new girl and said “Hi my name is Oliza what is yours?” She looked up from her water bottle and said “Oh Hi my name is Rain.” Then she smiled and asked “Who are your friends over there?” I looked behind me and seen that Ryu, Sky, and some of the other sherpas were looking over. “Well come and meet them.” I grabbed her hand and pulled her over to them. “Rain meet Ryu, Sky, Kim and Heather. Guys meet Rain.”
“City Girl, you’re still with me.” Conner yelled at her. I seen her even flinched a little. I rolled my eyes at his stupidity. I mean come on scaring someone so bad that they have to flinch. “His stupidity is over stupidity.” I whispered to my friends, making them laugh. Conner looked behind him checking on the group. Once he turned his head, I stuck my tongue out at him. As we walked some more until we came to a rushing river. I was the first one to go into action. Putting the equipment on the floating boats, Conner, Ryu, Sam and Kevin was the first to cross pulling the two boats with them. Once everyone got over, the last one to cross was Rain. She got in the middle of the river when she fainted. The water pushed her down the river. I knew this was a sign. She was already 17 and the first full moon was coming up. I started run trying to keep her in sight but the river was too fast. Once I got to her, Conner was already there but Conner was kissing….wait it’s Rain he’s kissing. Ryu ran up to me and asked “What’s wrong?” I pointed towards Rain and Conner. He looked over at them and gasped.
