I got ready for hte ultra sound. David and Freddie were going with and we would figure out the gender of our baby. I hadDavid get Freddie dressed while I was getting ready. Big mistake. Freddie was being whinny so David slapped him and now he has a big red mark on his cheek.
We were all ready so I came up with the lie of Freddie falling and doing a faceplant and we left. The doctor completely believed us so we went with that.
We figured out we were having a girl, and David got really happy with that. We went home and he gave Freddie a bath. I was stupid for trusting him, but he was happy so I did. It actually went okay so I let David do more stuff with Freddie. I relaxed most of the time. David even bought me a full body massage. It felt great.
The next few months were great. Then David was watching Freddie while I as getting another massage. Freddie got a broken arm from falling off the couch onto the toys. I yelled at David when I got home that night. Hewas in the kitchengetting something from the fridge whenI started yelling. He got really mad at me.He punched me in the face and I fell onto my back. He then stood over me, grabbed my face with both of his hands, and smashed my head into the hard tiled floor repeatedly. Freddie woke up from all of the commotion and walked up, standing behind David with the way the kitchen is set up. HesawDavid hitting me. Freddie understood that David was hurting me so he started screaming angrily atDavid, hitting himwith his little fists. David span around and hit Freddie. Freddieflew into the counter less than two feet away. David then returned to punching me in the face repeatedly. He stopped after getting all of his anger out. He thenlooked atme underneath him, my face bloody, eyes swollen and already bruising. His face turned from burning anger to sincere andapologetic. He lowered his face and helped me up. He walked me to the couch, sat me down, walked to the bathroom, got a washcloth and brought it back to me to clean up my blood. I was sitting on the couch while he silently washed off my face. Hewas apologizing many times, and explainedhow when he's mad, he doesn't notice what hesdoing.Ididn't sayanyting.Suddenly remembered thatFreddie woke up and was punched into the counterso I got up and ran to him. He was unconsious, but still alive. I rushed him to the ER. I didn't tell David what I was doing. I just picked Freddie up off the floor, grabed the keys off the counter, ran to the car and drove away after getting Freddie buckled.
Freddie was fine, he just had a little bump. He had to be staying at an orphanage for a while and I was the only one allowed to visit him. We would have to undergo more interviews. It was a long process but we wewere told that we would get him back in24 hous . . . then I started going into labor. I almost died, so I don't remember any of it. I remember every second of Freddie's birth but for this one, I only remember getting to the hospital, sitting in a bed, watching the news about Freddie, suddenly going into labor, the doctors screaming, although what I don't remember, then being rushed into another room. Then I woke up a day after it and I had to wait to hold my baby girl. For Freddie's birth I had him and I held him right away then they took him for an hour for testing.
