I woke up in someone’s arms.I started to panic.
“Quit your squirming.” A male said into my ear.
“Where are we and who are you?” My voice was shaky.
“One: where in the forest, and two: I’m not going to tell you who I am.” He said to me.
“How did I get out of Andrew’s house and where are Andrew and Josh wont they come after me? Unless….unless your either Andrew or Josh!?” I asked.
“I’m not the people who you fear and I got you out when they where fighting.” He told me.
“But how did you get in I locked the door.” I asked.
“Easy, the window was open.” I could tell he was smiling.
“If I figurer out who you are will you do me a favor?” I looked up.
“Yeah, but until then you have to stay with me. Do we have a deal?” I could tell that he was sticking out his hand.
“Ok.” I shook his hand.
I started to stand up.
“So if your not Andrew or Josh then who could you be?” I said out loud.“Can I have a hint?”
“That wasn’t part of the deal.” He smiled.
“Please.” I begged.
“Nop.” He said to me.
“This is going to be trickier then I thought.” I though. “Fine.”
I heard him start to walk over to me.
“So, are you a vampire?” I was cereous.
“Yes.” He said to me.
“Okay, now that I know that who could you probably be?” I wondered out loud.
I heard him laugh.
“What’s so funny?” I spun around.
“You look so cute when you are thinking.” He said in between laughs.
I could feel my anger starting to take over me.
Em, you have to stay calm you don’t want to hurt the guy’s feelings because he will probably leave you alone in the forest and then Josh and Andrew would be able to find you and kill you.” I thought.
I started to take some deep breaths.
“Are you alright?” I heard him ask.
I put my hand out to signal him not to come any nearer. When I was calm I said,
“I’m fine.”
“That’s good.” He came over to me and put his arm around my waist.
“Do you mind my hart already belongs to some one else.” I snapped.
“Oh, sorry.” He sounded heart.
I was pondering the reason why he would be hurt. When I heard,
“So who is the lucky guy that has your hart?” He asked me.
“That’s none of you business.” I snapped.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.” He sounded sad.
“No, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to snap at you.”I told him truthfully
I then turned to him and put my hand on his face.
“What are you doing?” He sounded a bit nervous.
“I just want to get a pitcher of you in my mind.” I started to fell his face.
I felt a nice smooth face. The lips where formed into a smile, he had a little stubble on his face. By the way I figured his is a really cute vampire.I then went back and felt his lips again.When I felt them a second time they where in a relaxed potion.They felt so familiar like I had felt them before, but I couldn’t figure out where. I then had this strange urge to kiss his lips, but I held myself back.
“So how do I look in your mind?” He asked under my fingers.
I felt my face getting red and I quickly removed my fingers from his mouth.
“I looks okay.” I told him.
“Only okay, hmmm.” He pondered.
“What are you humming about?” I asked.
“Will I was just wondering why you kept on my lips so long if I was just okay?” He smiled.
“Well…well it’s because I just was making you…you-” He interrupted me.
“You don’t have to tell me you know.” He put a hand on my shoulder.
“Okay.” I was glade I got out of that one.
I then started to walk and I heard him follow.
“So, where do you want to go?” I herd him ask.
“Um, how about Minnesota?” I asked him.
“Okay.” He lifted me on his back.
I felt my hair getting pushed back.It took us about an hour and a half to reach our destination.When he stopped he set me down.
“I guess we should get a hotel room.” He said to me.
“I guess so.” I smiled.
He took my hand to lead me into the hotel.He got us a joined room.When I was in the room I went and felt around the room.
“There’s a patio to your left and the bathroom is on your right.” He said to me.
“This must be a really small room.” I thought.
But I was wrong the room was actually really big. I then felt for the patio door and when I found it I went outside.
“Hey, there neighbor.” I heard him shout from next door.
“Hi, hey what can I call you since you won’t tell me your real name?” I asked him.
“You can call me Jay.” He said to me.
“Okay, so Jay I was wondering if you could come over here for a minute.” I felt a gust of wind and then a hand was on my shoulder.
I jumped a little.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.” Jay said to me.
“It’s okay.” I told him.
“So what did you want?” He sounded cereous.
“I was just wondering if we could go shopping so I can get some new cloths.”I asked him.
“Okay, lets go.” He then grabbed my hand and started to walk to the door. When we reached the mall I told him to find a store that looks like they would have something I would wear. He led me to a store that had blaring music.He then handed me a couple pairs of pants and some shirts.He then led me to the dressing room and shut the door on me. I started to change into the cloths that he gave me.When I tried all the cloths on I got dressed back into my cloths and when out of the dressing room.
“So what do you think of the cloths?” Jay asked me.
“Surprisingly, you did a really good job. If it is alright with you could I get them?” I asked feeling a little bit mean.
“Of course you can.You probably want to go get a swim suit, ha?” He asked me with a smile on his face.
“How did…oh never mind lets go find me a swim suit.” I put my hand in his.
He paid for the cloths and then we went to go look for a swim suit.When I got my swim suit I made Jay look for one too.When we both got our suits and paid for them. We then went back to the hotel.
“I think I’m going to go take a nap.” I told Jay.
“Okay, if you need anything don’t be afraid to knock on my door.” He said to me.
“Alright.” I said and then shut my bedroom door.
I when to my bed and laid down and went to sleep.I woke up in a cold sweat.I got up and walked to the patio.When I was out side I put my back to the wall that was separating my patio from Jay’s.I slid down till I was sitting on the ground.I started to cry.
“Hey, I was wondering since you-” He stopped midsentence.“Are you okay?”
I didn’t answer him.I heard him come by me and sit next to me.He then pulled me into a hug.
“Jay?” I sobbed.
“Yeah?” He started to rub circle into my back.
“Can you stay with me tonight?” I wiped the tears off of my face.
“Sure.” He started to help me up.
“What where you saying before you found me?” I asked him.
“I was wondering what should call you.” He asked.
“You can call me Em or Emily.” I smiled at him.
“Okay, Emily.” He added a nice ring to my name.
“Hey, Jay how about we go swimming.” I went to go grab my swim suit.
“Okay, let me go get changed.” He said and then left the room.
I got changed into my swim suit when I heard a knock on the door.I went to the door and opened it to hear,
“Ready, to go?”
“Yep.” I felt Jay grab my hand.
We walked down to the pool hand-in-hand.When we got in the pool area he led me to the pool steps.I then felt his hand touch my back and he pushed me in.
“Justin, why did you-” I paused.
“Who’s Justin?” I heard Jay ask.
“He’s…” I stopped and splashed Jay to try to make him forget what I said.
It worked he ended up jumping in and splashing me.We ended up having a splash fight.
“Okay, you win.” Jay said.“Damn, you have good hearing.”
“Thanks.” I smiled.
I then started to carefully walk around the pool.
“Here let me help you.” Jay was at my side.
I let him take my hand and lead me around the pool. Once I was sure I know the shape of the pool I let go of Jay’s hand and started to swim.
“Do you want to go to the hot tub?” Jay asked me.
“Umm…sure.” I told him.
He helped me out of the pool and into the hot tub. The hot tub was nice and warm. I sat down on the seats that were built into the hot tub.I felt the water move and I realized that someone was sitting by me.
“So what is a pretty girl like you doing here?” I heard a male ask.
I started too slid to my left.
“I’m just on my vacation.” I told him.
“Oh, well are you here with your parents?” He sounded cereous.
“No.” I answered to quickly.
I heard the guy laugh and come closer to me.
“So you’re here all by yourself, ha.” He put a hand on my leg.
“I…I-” I was interrupted by someone.
“Hey, Emily sorry I left you I wanted to get you a towel.” Jay sat down next to me.
The other guy took his hand off of my leg and moved away.
I bent over to where I heard Jay’s breathing and whispered,
“Thank you.”
“No, problem I should have never let you alone.” He whispered to me.
We sat in the hot tub next to each other for about 15 minutes.When we where done in the pool area we headed back up stairs. I went to my room and got changed and Jay did the same thing in his room.When I was fully dressed I went out on the patio.
Knock, knock
“Yes.” I didn’t turn around.
“Hey, I was wondering if you would like to go to the game room.” Jay asked me.
“Umm, okay.” I let Jay lead me down to the game room.
When we were out side of the room I heard allsorts of sound.
“So, what do you want to play?” I asked Jay.
“How about DDR.” He asked me.
“I can’t I wont be able to see the arrows.” I pointed out to him.
“I tell you the arrows.” He sounds like he really wants to play the game.
“How about we do this, I will play, but you have to let me try it by myself.” I didn’t want him to lose to me if he helped me.
“Okay.” He grabbed my hand and led me over to the game.
“Are you ready?” I asked him.
“Yep.” He said to me.
“Don’t let me win I like a challenge.” I told him.
“Oh, I wont.” I could tell that he was smiling.
Little did Jay know was that I was actually really good at this game even though I’m blind.When I was bored I always play DDR at my house and I was able to feel the beat and I had every step memorized for every song on the games.
“So what song do you want to do?” He asked me.
“How about “Brown Eyed Girl’.” I asked him.
“Okay.” He said and hit the start button.
We danced until the song was over and I could tell that he was letting me win.
“How did you beat me?” Jay asked.
“I told you not to go easy on me. Do you want a rematch?” I smiled at him.
“Okay, but I get to choose the song.” He said to me.
“Okay, let’s start.” I said to him.
We started again and this time that I could tell he meant business.When we were done there was a whole bunch of people clapping.
“You still beat me, but how?” Jay asked me.
“Let’s just say I’ve played this game a lot.” I smiled at him.
“What game do you want to play next?” He asked still shocked that I beat him.
“I won’t to play basketball.” I told him.
“Okay.” He led me to the game.
I wasn’t really good at basketball, but for some reason I wanted to play it.I started to play, but I wasn’t able to tell where the hoop was.I then felt Jay put his hands on mine and helped me shoot.
“New high score….game over.” The machine said.
I let Jay keep his hands on mine until I heard,
“Well, we should probably go back to the room.”
He took one of his hands off of mine and led me to the room.He left me out side of my room and went to his to get changed.I went into my room and got ready for bed.When I was dressed I went to the door that was connected to Jay’s and my room.
Knock, knock
I heard the door open.
“Can you come over?” I asked Jay.
“Yep, I was just going to call and see if you where ready.” He smiled.
I let him into my room.He grabbed my hand as he went past me.
“Where are you taking me?” I was a little worried.
“I just wanted to go onto the patio with you.” He smiled at me.
I heard him open the patio door and he led me outside. I put my elbows on the ledge and rested my head in my hands.
“It’s a beautiful day out.” Jay said to me.
“Can you tell me what it looks like?” I asked him.
“Well, the sun is setting so the ski has pink, purple, blue, yellow, and orange.There is also a beautiful garden by a pone not that far away.” He told me.
The pitcher in my head looked very peaceful and pretty.
“It sounds very pretty.” I smiled at him.
Just then a gust of wind made my hair blow back.I tensed up.
“Emily, are you okay?” Jay sounded worried.
“What? Oh, yeah I’m fine.” I moved closer to him.
He put his arm around me protectively.I put my head on his chest.I started to hear music. Someone was playing a piano below us.Jay started to sway back and forth.Before I knew it I was dancing with him on the patio.
