“Emily, wake up.” Justin whispered into my ear.
“Ummmm, I’m up.” I groaned.
I got up off of the bed and went down the stairs into the kitchen.
“Justin, do you want any coffee?” I yelled up the stairs.
“No.” He yelled back down.
“Okay, can you wake up Kisa and Lily for me please.” I yelled back.
“Sure.” He said to me.
Kisa and Lily are our five year old girls and if you where wondering they where full vampires and yes that means that I’m a full vampire too.I have been a full vampire for Six years.Justin changed me the day we moved to the house.I’m still blind though.
“Emily?” Justin yelled.
“Yeah?” I yelled back.
“Can you come help me get them up.” He said.
“I’m coming.” I said.
I went up the stairs to Kisa and Lily’s room.
“You guys it’s time to get up.” I whispered to them.
“Mommy, do we have to get up?” They whined.
“Yes, now up and atom.” I threw the covers off of them.
I heard them get up and get dressed.
“I want you guys to eat some breakfast and then brush your teeth.” I told them.
“Okay.” They both said.
I heard them go down the stairs.
Bang
“What did you guys break this time?” Justin yelled.
“Nothing.” Kisa yelled.
“Let’s go make sure no one got hurt.” I turned to Justin.
I felt Justin pick me up and carry me down the stairs.
“Be careful there is glass every where.” Justin whispered into my ear.
“Can you go get the girls for me?” I asked Justin as he set me down.
I heard him walk off to where the kids were.
“Mommy, we’re sorry for breaking your dish.” Lily tugged on my pants.
“It’s okay just next time if you can get something don’t go crawling on the furnisher.” I said motherly.
“Alright.” They both said.
“Here you guys go.” I hard Justin say.
“Thanks daddy.”They both said.
“No problem. Now go and eat your breakfast in the living room.” he smiled at them.
I let out a sigh when I heard the T.V. turned on.
“You know you are going to have to tell them some time.” Justin said into my ear.
“I, don’t you mean we will have to tell them and why did you even bring up the subject right now?” I asked him.
“Because, I thought that I should.” He nudged me.
“We will tell them when they are older.” I hissed to him.
I heard him laugh.
“Mommy, can we stay with you and daddy today?” Lily asked.
“No, sweetie you and your sister have to go to school.” I knelt down by her.
“Okay.” She whined.
“Now why don’t you and your sister brash your teeth and get ready for school.” I turned her around and gave her a little tap.
“Kisa, let’s get ready.” Lily said to her sister.
“Alright.” Kisa said.
I heard there tiny foot steps go up the stairs.
“Honey, all the glass is cleaned up.” Justin said around the corner.
“Alright.” I said to him.
I got up and walked to the kitchen.
“Do you want me to drop them off?” Justin asked.
“No, I think I will do it today.” I smiled at him.
“Okay and when you get back we will go.” He gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I nodded my head in agreement.I then heard him leave the room.I then headed up the stairs.
“Mommy, we’re ready to go.” Kisa said from behind the door.
“Okay, I will be out in a minute.” I told her.
“Alright.” She walked away.
I finished putting on my make-up and walked down the stairs.
“Alright, kids why don’t you go to the car.” I said to them.
I know you are probably think how can she drive when she’s blind.Well this is where the vampire senses come in handy.
I got into the car and started to drive.Once, the kids where at school I went back home.
“Justin, you ready to go?” I yelled from down stairs.
“Yep.” He whispered into my ear.
I did a little jump.
“Did I scare you?” He laughed.
I just gave him an evil glare.
“Okay, lets go.” He took my hand and opened the back door.
We ran through the woods hand-in-hand.I sniffed at the air and then I let go of Justin’s hand and went after my pray. I heard Justin behind me.
Snap
I heard a twig brake in front of me.
“Perfect, my pray is coming to me.” I though and came to a sudden stop.
I then smelt the air again and sure enough my pray was about a foot in front of me.I waited till it came a little closer and then I lapped at it. I quickly bit it in the neck and began to drink its blood.
“I see you have gotten your catch for today.” Justin said to me.
I stud up and wiped the blood away from my mouth.
“Yep.” I said to him.
“Shell, we go back to the house?” Justin was by my side.
“I think I’m going to stay out hear for a while.” I looked up at him.
“Okay, I will see you back at the house.” He gave me a kiss on the lips.
I smiled and then he was gone. I wondered around the woods until I felt something hit my foot.My head shut up and I started to sniff the air.All I smelt was damp grass.
“It must have been a rain drop.” I thought to myself.
I then headed back to the house.
“Justin, do you want to pick the kids up from school?” I sat down next to him.
“Okay.” He put his arm around my shoulders.
I must have dosed off because the next thing I knew I had two little kids on top of me.
“Alright, I’m up now can you two please get off of me?” I asked them.
“Okay.” They slid off of me.
I swung my legs over the end of the couch and sat up.
“Hey, there sleepy head.” Justin bent down and gave me a kiss.
“Hey, there honey.” I smiled at him.
I stud up and felt my way to the kitchen.I grabbed myself a bottle of water.
“I think I’m going to go to bed.” I told Justin.
“But, it is only 4:30 P.M.” He informed me.
“I’m still going to go I’m not feeling to well.” I told him.
“Alright.” He walked me up the stairs.
“Mommy, are you alright?” I heard Lily ask me from he door way.
“Yeah, I’m fine sweetie.” I knelt down and gave her a hug.
Lily then put her hand on mine and escorted me to my room.
“Thank you.” I smiled at Lily.
“I love you mommy.” She gave me a hug.
“I love you too.” I hugged her back.
“Lily, I think you should let your mom rest now.” Justin told her.
“Okay.” I heard her leave the room.
I then felt the bed move.
“Justin?” I turned towards him.
“Yeah?” He put his hand on mine.
“You know I love you?” I asked him.
“Of course I do.” He sounded shocked. “Why do you ask?”
“I just wanted to make sure.” I looked at the ceiling.
“Emily, I will always love you.” Justin squeezed my hand.
“Okay.” I drifted to sleep.
