I felt myself going into a fainting spell.
“Em, wake up.” I felt myself hit a wall.
“Why?” I moaned.
“Why what?” Andrew bent down by me.
“Why do you want to kill me?” I asked.
“Oh, that.” He laughed.
“Yes that.” I growled.
“Well, since you won’t be mine then what good are you alive.” He said to me.
“I have a family and….and a hus-” He interrupted me.
“A, husband that you left and that doesn’t, love you.” He grabbed my wrist and pulled me up.
“No, Justin still loves me he knows that I left him for his own protection.” I felt tears coming.
“You are wrong he is probably off with some other girl right now.” He whispered into my ear.
I shook my head and the tears stated to flow.
“Justin, would never see another girl.” I told him.
“Wrong, again.” He brought his lips to my neck.
“I promise I will be yours.” I whispered.
“Good, I will spare your life for now then as long as you stick to the promise.” He kissed my lips.
I stood there like a statue.
“Come, on Em.” He whispered.
He then brought his lips back to mine and this time I kissed him with more tears running down my face.
“I hope Justin will be happy without me.” I prayed.
“Now let’s go see our kids.” Andrew took my hand.
I didn’t argue about the ‘our kids’ part. I let him lead me into the house.
“Kisa, Lily come and show Em, her room.” Andrew yelled.
I heard footsteps coming towards me.
“Hi, Emily.” I heard Lily say.
“Hi, Lily, Kisa.” I nodded my head.
“So, lets us show you to your room.” Lily took my hand.
I let them lead me upstairs to my room.
“Here, we are.” Kisa said to me.
I heard doors opening. I walked into the room.
“There are some new clothes to your right in the closet.” Lily told me.
They both told me what the room looks like and they also side that I have a balcony.
“Thank you, you guys, now if you don’t mind I would like to be alone for a while.” I said to them.
“Oh, okay and if you need anything don’t be afraid to give us a call we are right next door.” They told me.
“Okay,” I heard them leave the room.
I then went to the door and locked it.I walked out to the balcony and shut the door. I then put my back against the door and sat on the balcony floor.I started to cry. I cried for several minuets.
“Em, didn’t you hear me knock?” Andrew bent down next to me.
I turned my head away from him and quickly whipped away the tears.
“Have you been crying?” He asked.
“No,” I looked at he ground.
“You, have been crying for what’s his name haven’t you?” He forced my chin up.
“No,” I was stern.
“You, know what why don’t we forget about this and lets go down to dinner.” He kissed my lips.
I nodded my head. He helped me up.
We headed out of my room and downstairs. He led me to the table and pulled out a chair for me. He then sat down next to me.
“The kids and Josh should be coming shortly.” He rubbed his hand on my thigh.
I shuttered at his touch. I heard footsteps come into the room.
“Ah, brother how was your evening?” Josh asked.
“Not, bad.” Andrew touched my shoulder.
“So where are the little rug-rats?” Josh asked.
“Right here.” Lily snapped.
I laughed inside.
“Way to go Lily.” I thought.
“Lily, it’s nice for you and your sister to join us.” Andrew smiled.
“Thanks dad.” They both smiled.
“So, Em I was wondering I know you just got here and everything, but I was wondering….” Andrew mumbled.
“What, is it?” I tried to sound calm.
“Would you marry me?” I felt all the air get knocked out of my lungs.
“Um, okay.” I didn’t know what to say.
“Great,” He put a ring on my left ring finger.
“So, when are we going to get married?” I took my hand from his.
“In two months.” He kissed my cheek.
I held back a gag.
“That’s, nice.” I told him. “My, I be excused?” I pushed my chair away from the table.
“Sure, I under stand that you are shocked.” Andrew said to me.
“We will go with her.” Lily said grabbed Kisa’s arm.
“Hey-” Kisa stopped and followed Lily.
I ran up the stairs.
“Emily, wait.” Lily yelled.
I stopped.
“Let’s go to our room.” Lily and Kisa took one of my hands.
I walked to there room. Once, we where in their room they led me outside onto their balcony.
“You can talk to us about how you feel.” Lily told me.
“I know, I just don’t know what I feel right now.” I looked at the ground.
“Okay, so how is the baby doing?” She changed the subject.
“The baby is doing well I will probably have the baby in a month or so.” I smiled.
“Do you now what it is going to be?” Kisa asked.
“I think it is going to be a boy.” I said to them.
“How do you know?” Kisa asked.
“I’m just throwing out a wild guess.” I smiled at her.
“Well that is exciting.” Lily hugged me.
“Yeah,” I looked back down.
“What’s wrong?” Lily put her hands on my shoulders.
“I just wish Justin was here.” I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
“I’m sure he is fine.” Lily tried to cheer me up.
“You are probably right.” I put on a smile.
“Now let’s talk about your wedding.” Lily dragged me into her room.
I talked to Lily all night about the wedding.
“So you just want a simple wedding?” She asked.
“Yes,” I told her even though I didn’t want the wedding at all.
“Okay, I will give Andrew the plans.” She said.
I heard her walk out of the room.
“Kisa, are you still in here?” I said.
“Yeah,” Kisa was at my side.
“Can I ask you a favor?” I turned toward her.
“Sure,” She put her hand on my shoulder.
“Can you find Justin and give him this.” I handed her my wedding ring that Justin gave me.
“Are you sure?” She closed my hand.
“Yes,” I forced my hand open.
“Okay, I will be back as soon as I find him.” She took the ring from my hand.
“I will cover for you.” I said before she left.
I heard her go out the window.
“Knock, knock.” Andrew said.
“Yes?” I turned toward his voice.
“I, was wondering if you would like to sleep in my room tonight?” He said.
“Why is he being so nice all of a sudden?” I thought.
“Em?” He took me out of my train of thought.
“If you don’t mine I would prefer to sleep in my room.”I heard him hiss. “I thought so.” I thought.
“Okay,” I could tell he was holding in his anger.
“So, did Lily give you the plans for the wedding?” I asked him.
“Yes, she did and I think it is a wonderful idea.” He said before walking out of the room.
“Lily?” I yelled.
“Yes, Emily?” She was at my side.
“Can I ask you a question in my room?” I looked at her.
“Ummmm, okay.” She sounded unsure.
She led me to my room. Once inside I walked to the bed and sat down.
“So, what did you want to ask me?” She sat by me.
“Do you remember anything from your childhood?” I looked at her.
“Not, really I remember a time when I was in the woods, but I can’t remember what happened.” She said to me.
“Okay, that was all I wanted to know.” I put my hand on her shoulder.
“By, the way have you seen Kisa around?” Lily asked me.
“I asked her to go look for a dress for me.” I lied.
“Oh, okay.” Lily sounded hurt.
“Lily, would you pick the flower arraignment for me?” I tried to cheer her up.
“Okay,” She said happily.
I heard her walk out of the room. I laid down on the bed and went to sleep. When I woke up I sensed someone in my room.
“Kisa, is that you?” I asked.
“Yeah,” She sat by me.
“So did you find him?” I asked her. “Did he look happy?”
“Yes I found him.” She said to me.
“Is he happy?” I asked.
“He still loves you Emily, he told me to tell you and I quote ‘I will not stop loving you and that I will come and get you.’ And Faen misses you.” She put a hand on my shoulder.
“Faen is with them still and he still loves me.” I mumbled.
“Yep,” Kisa said to me.
I felt tears sliding down my cheeks.
“Emily, are you okay?” Kisa pulled me into a hug.
“Yeah, I’m fine I just feel bad.” I whispered to her.
“About what, Justin still loves you.” She said to me.
“I know and I still love him, but I’m marring Andrew.” I told her.
“Oh, yeah, we have a problem there.” She smiled.
“We, don’t you mean I?” I asked surprised.
“Nope, family has to stick together.” Kisa hugged me again.
“You mean you remember?” I asked her.
“Yep, I remember everything and I have been trying to help Lily remember too.” She whispered to me.
“Will, you will have to keep trying because she really doesn’t remember anything.” I whispered to her.
“Well, I better go back to my room.” Kisa got up.
“Okay, see you later.” I smiled at her.
“Yep,” She left the room.
I was so happy that Kisa remembered that I didn’t hear Andrew come into my room.
“Em?” He whispered into my ear.
I jumped out of my bed. I heard him laugh.
“Did I scare you?” He laughed.
“Yes, now what do you want.” I hissed.
“Sorry, Miss. Snappy, I was just wondering if you would like to go on a walk.” He said to me.
“Okay, just let me get changed.” I walked to my closet.
“Here, why don’t you ware this?” He handed me a dress.
“Why, we are only going out side?” I asked dumfounded.
“Just, ware it please.” He kissed my cheek.
“Okay,” I turned my head so he couldn’t kiss my lips.
“I will leave so you can get dressed.” He shut the door.
I put on the dress and then walked down stairs.
“Ready, to go?” Andrew whispered into my ear.
I nodded my head.
He put my arm around his and led me outside.When he stopped he had me sit on a bench.
“So why did you want to go on a walk?” I asked him.
“Well it is a nice cloudy day so I thought it was a good time for a walk.” He smiled and kissed my lips.
“Okay, can we keep walking?” I got up.
“A little antsy now are we?” Andrew smirked.
“I just want to keep walking.” I smiled at him.
“Okay, let’s go to my favorite spot.” He grabbed my hand.
He led me to his ‘favorite spot’. Once we where there he stopped and kissed me passionately. I opened my eyes and saw that it was the place where he bit me.
“Stop,” I pushed him away.
“What’s wrong Em?” He was angry.
“Can I take Lily and Kisa and go back to Justin, please.” I started to cry.
“I thought you where happy here.” He hissed. “And you are to marry me remember.”
I felt his hand on my left wrist.
“I don’t want to marry you.” I mumbled.
“What was that?” He asked.
“I want to take my kids and leave.” I yelled.
I heard him growl deep in his chest and the next thing I knew he was gripping my neck. I felt myself starting to pass out.
“Let her go.”Was the last thing I heard before all my senses left me.
“Emily, wake up.” I felt someone shake me.
“Justin?” I had hope in my voice.
“No, it’s Lily.” She said.
“Lily, where am I?” I asked her.
“You are in my room.” She said to me.
“Did, you save me?” I started to sit up.
My head was throbbing.
“No, this little guy did.” I guess she was pointing to someone next to her.
“Thank you.” I smiled.
“You’re welcome Emily.” Faen said.
My eyes went wide with shock.
“Faen, what are you doing here? I thought you where with Justin?” I rambled.
“I take it you now this little kid.” Lily said.
I nodded my head.
“Well,” Faen started to answer my question. “I wanted to see you so I followed that one lady’s sent.” He hugged me.
I hugged him back.
“What is Andrew going to do to him?” I turned towards Lily.
“Well, that is just it, Andrew wants to kill him.” She said to me.
“I wont let him.” I hissed.
“No, Emily, I can take care of myself.” Faen said to me.
“But, you are only a little kid.” I argued.
“I will be fine.” He said to me.
I looked down. Faen then hugged me and left the room.
“Lily, go help him.” I begged.
“I will don’t worry.” She rushed out of the room.
“Faen thinks he is so tough but he isn’t. Please, let both of them be safe.” I thought to myself.
Bang
I heard Lily scream. I started to cry.
